  • I love the English version so this version blew me away! Gotta luv Cinderella and France

  • SOME*

  • HOW COULD SOM ONE DISLIKE THIS AMAZING SONG??

  • wow this is amazing. If i were to learn a second language it would definitely be French.

  • Every song just becomes 100% more romantic when translated in French.

  • le sigh

  • I guessed right on the French title before I saw the description (or heard the song). And I don't even know that much French at all :)

  • I got here because all my Vietnamese friends send me this. and i wonder...

Why a lot of Vietnamese love French so much that they can't be themselves somehow seriously!?? =)

  • Memories I love those romantioc old movies i watched that till i was 8 or 7

  • Love it

  • le sigh <3

  • OUI!

  • doesnt any one wonder how disney drew the sparkles in the moive they are soo dang pretty and if any one know PLEASE share ?!

  • @TenSecondBarbie It's part of the drawing process, when Cinderella was made they drew every frame by hand so where the sparkles are in some frames they would leave the area white and then slowly bring it into colour to match the other areas of water, and in other places take it down slowly to white thus creating the sparkle. Hope this answers your question.

  • @AxannaPlavil86 .... Water sparkles or dress Sparkles, same process!!

  • @AxannaPlavil86

thanks for the info,i love clasical animation,is very top quality.

  • i love it!!

  • Which tastless beings hit the dislike button???????

  • @PattavinaFragolina The dislike button must have an auto-dislike system. Too many incredible videos that get random dislikes for no reason. I think it's a youtube system. Or something, cause i can't see in what way this video is dislikable

  • Now I know how they really sounded when they sang this song

  • i cant breathe LMFAOOO it sounds so amazing!!!!!!!!

  • This is better than the one in English.

  • So sweet..

  • So romantic...

  • Enchanting <3

  • its to die for.. i want it at my wedding, amazing..♥

  • I want this version in my future wedding :).

  • ce'st l'amour makes me cry

  • This might even be better than the original. I faved!

  • SOoooo romantique...mmm hmm hmm hmm.

  • J'adore Cendrillon! Elle est le mieux en francaise!

  • I can't believe it! About 3 years ago, I happened to look this up. I was just a beginner in french, I didn't know much, just the greetings and that kind of stuff. Now, I looked it up again, and after so much hard work, I couldn't help but wanting to yell it all out to the world: I ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND THIS!!! T>T C'est tout ce que j'ai voulu faire!! XD *died and went to heaven!*

  • @MiwiChiquitoBui OMG I'm where you were three years ago! I understand bits and pieces because I've only started a year ago...but the parts I do understand make me feel so accomplished :D and good for you!

  • @MiwiChiquitoBui I know how you feel, I'm the same way. I can actually sing it now too.

  • I wish I could see the lyrics for this I bet they are twice as devastatingly beautiful x)

  • i wish the man's voice is deeper

  • I was singing this and a thought came into my head...

"This would sound freaking beautiful in french."

    And it does :)

  • Soooo Smooth & Romantique <3

  • good lord, this must be what it feels like when your ears orgasm.

  • 7 people are germans

  • It sounds so 'right' in French...so romantic!

  • So beautiful!! :D <3

  • this truly feels so magical, i wish this would happen to me in real life

  • ...in this cinderella doesnt sound as innocent but its still beautiful

  • As they say, tres belle!

  • c´est magnifique,vraiment

  • this is beautiful

  • it's so romantic in french!

  • Wow... I want this sung in French at my wedding now... :D

  • the best version for this song!! aaaahh, amour!!

  • I like both the english and french versions. I don't think one is better, but it's nice. :]

  • I love this song...I keep practicing this with my sister,I'm trying out for a play and want to get a lead role...

  • I agree this version sounds a lot better then the english one.

  • Sounds better in French. The voice is much softer.

  • who sings this and can i get it on itunes?? its so beautiful :)

  • @summergreen500 This is the 1991 recording. The French voices for this film were done twice--once in 1950 (with songs sung by Paulette Rollin) and in 1991 (sung by Dominique Poulain). Sorry, but only the English version is available on iTunes.

  • Oh! And I forgot to mention that Prince Charming's signing voices are thanks to Dominique Tirmont (1950) and Michel Chevalie (1991)

  • usually i find that the multilingual versions of these disney songs aren't as good, or just as good, as the original. for this song, the french version is better.

  • OH MY GAH!!!!!

    J´ADORE!!!!!!

  • Now I know how to say it in french ^_^

  • This is so much sexier than the English version.

  • love :)

  • Its like listening to melt chocolate. They have such beautiful voices.

  • i like this also but much for ilene woods version

  • French Voice.. seems that at that time she's having an Orgaaaasm..!!

    EXAGGERATED.. nauseating!

  • the voice is SO MINCING to be nauseating...!

it often happens in the french language this way exAGGERAted to speak...!!

  • Hum hum hum hum ... Hum hum hum hum ... Hum hum hum hum ... Hum hum hum hum ... C'est ça, l'Amour !
  • The French version of this song reminds me of all the romantic tunes in "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg".

  • holy goodness!!!!!!

  • The Disney Cinderella is set in France, so this is how it should sound like.

    It's so deadly romantic!

  • @LatasianDevil its set in france i always thought it was in england cuz of the big ben

  • @gurlie1275 I just saw this! So sorry for the late reply. Yea. Disney's Cinderella is set in France. I thought it was England as a kid too, but it's just a clock tower. The movie gives out big clues that it's in France. Cinderella's house is called a chateau, the fleur the lis is everywhere, the French styled culture is seen here. Of course, England would never have these things in this time period haha.

  • I feel like I should be in Paris in the 1950s when listening to this song.

  • j'dore cest chanson.

    quelle voix! merci.

  • I never thought I'd find a more soothing voice than Charlotte from Charlottes Web, but I've just found it. It's really beautiful, I could fall asleep to this. =]

  • aaah so romantic (:

  • soooo romatic!

  • Somewhy in french it sounds completely different than in hebrew / english.. much better actually <3

  • <3 Beautifulll

Who is the person that sang this O:?

  • @Lovebugxx87 Dominique Poulain

  • Sounds so romantic and beautiful <3

  • beautiful

  • Soo Smoothing

  • So silky... <3

  • aww why didnt she kiss him at the end it was soooo romantic!

  • trop belle!!

  • one of the bests!!

  • c'est ca l'amour...so roamntic i would so play this at my wedding

  • OMG!!!!!!!!! this song in French jus makes u melt ...in english it's good but French take sit to a whole new romance level

  • @RoyalC11

    Agree!!!

  • French truly is a "Romance" language... =)

  • I think this just proves that French is the most Beautiful language in the world. Although Disney can be . . . well superficial, the music more than makes up for it.

  • okay,i dont understand a word but i think she wants to do something with him^^

  • I'm melting

    french is so beautiful

  • Wow, what a calming and romantic effect this version has.

  • the french is so much more romantic than the english!

  • So beautiful sound! someone could you give me the lyrics in French?

  • @ursouglywhenucry

« Hum hum hum hum. Hum hum hum hum Hum hum hum hum... C'est ça, l'Amour! »

  • @aureginal55 Merci beaucoup! ;)

  • @ursouglywhenucry

    De rien beaucoup =).

  • my goodness! this is romantic, has a complete differant vibe than the english one! how can u not fall in love after hearing this??!?

  • so this is love <3

  • j'aadoore! :)

  • This is the Frencn Canadian version :)

I don't know if there is a European French version somewhere.

  • @KnightsofEmerald

It's the French version (France). Oh and we don't say European French, only French because French originates from France.

  • @americandreamglow Well, were I come from, in Montreal, we do say European French ^^ Also, The voice over for Cinderella in this clip does not tense her /i/ to /I/ , which is typical of a European French accent. This is why I suspect it is the French Canadian dubbing, and not the 'France' French, as you would say.

  • @KnightsofEmerald I'm french, and i grew up with this version, this is definitly the french version and not the canadian french one ;-)

  • @DubbingSisters If you say so then, there must be only asingle version! This sorta makes sense because this is one of the oldies form Disney. Back then, they didn't bother translating into two dialects of the same language.

    Thanks!

  • @KnightsofEmerald what is the difference between the types of french spoken? spelling changes? accent stresses?

  • @eaglesgogirl well, for instance, there are more vowel sounds and dipthongs in Quebec French than Pariasian French. After listening closely to my french version, I realsie it is the same as this one. I don't think they made a Quebec french version for this.

Also, there are no spelling differences between Quebec French and Parisian French. However, Quebec French does use words that are considered archaic to European French speakers.

^^ hopes this answers your question

  • BUt then again, I might be mistaken because I cannot find any other version. Most Disney movies are translated in two kinds of French: European French (or Standard French) and French Canadian French. Is this movie an exeption? Can somebody answer me?

  • @KnightsofEmerald actually there are actually no french canadian dubbings for Disney movies until The Little Mermaid (1989). : ) However they used the french dubbings for Beauty and the Beast (1991) and the Lion King (1993). I hope this helps : )

  • @lexomil17 It does, thanks! If you don't mind asking, where can I look up these tidbits of info so I can learn which Disney movies are available in French Canadian?

  • @americandreamglow We DO say European French because not only French people speak French in the world, (thanks God!)... and even in Europe, other French-speaking countries have similar pronunciation of the language...compared to say...North American ones or African ones...

  • I must download this!

  • @polka994 I watched this movie when i was a kid. it's definitely not canadian french

  • I was brought here bcuz MIchellePhan favorited this video LOL... but I'm glad she did, cuz I LOVE this song, so ADORABLE!! :D

Hmm... C'est ça, l'amour ... "

  • don't understand French but it just sounds so-o much more romantic then the English version! lol
