  • DAMN GOOD video. sux to miss a clean shot like that I know! wouldn't thought it woulda fell that much. But I'm glad to say better you than me, I just bought the Preditor and I've been wondering how much difference the heads would make. Sorry your loss was my gain. but I'll use the knowledge wisely.

  • @LentuttleYeah, the bolt actually hit the branch! Don't know how but it did, see the branch move when the shot is taken! He was a lucky one! Good thing anyway, he should be nicer this year!

  • i hate shooting squirrels with my crossbow, breaks my 40 dollar arrows.

  • More fun with the squirrels, huh Sam? Man! Those guys are such small targets. Great tune-up for that big buck I'm sure will be comin' your way as the rut kicks into high gear. Thanks for the tip on the arrow drop. All I've ever shot are Montec G5's, so I really can't comment on that type of arrow.

  • That bolt fell way fast with the heavy broadhead. Good video

  • @TheC4ranch Chris, I could not believe it! I have gone from my 85 grain Torrid SS head to 125 grain Thunderheads and had very little difference... I guess that 150 grains just points the arrow downward with all of the extra weight up front... I was aiming high behind the shoulder, that shot dropped like 3 feet or more... That was out of my compound bow, I am not setting my sights to that head just to see what a 3 1/2" cutting diameter will do, but it gets you thinking! lol
