MJ is not cured of HIV. You can't get cured. HIV is a retorivrus that kills you by going through its lytic cycle. You can live with HIV like Majic Johnson. You don't die of HIV. You die when HIV becomes AIDS. To prevent HIV from going through it's lytic cycle you take a Protease inhibitor which prevents the HIV from infecting, but it will ALWAYS stay in your body.

Damn his wife is a good one because my ass would've left!! Sorry but I'm being honest. You think you gone cheat on me and then tell me you have HIV and expect me to still be with you. That's scary because he could've gave her HIV. He put her life at risk as well. That's why you always get tested even if you're with someone because put will cheat and won't care.

I doubt Magic is cured. Most doctors estimate that ppl can now live 30+ years after infection if they take their antiviral medicine properly. But no one knows for sure. Only time will tell. Magic has had the virus 20+ years. Magic also says that he takes his medicine on time every single day, tries to get enough vitamins, lifts weights 3 times a week, and gets a solid 8 hours of sleep a night. He can also afford every antiviral medicine under the sun. Put that together and he's alive and fine.
