  • I can´t imagine the feeling of the parents, knowing your kid might be really hurt, and then watch him happily saying hi to his rescuers, as a parent that must have been so beautiful.

  • Its amazing how people that go through calamities still have joy and hope in them. This boy is something else

  • Omg this kid is so cute!!

  • This is Truly heart warming. The Human Spirit is amazing. This little boy...comes out after SO long without water, food or sunlight, and opens his arms and smiles!! God is wonderful

  • I just LOVE this little boy's attitude and reaction to being rescued! This is the best smile I've seen in a long time!

  • I just love this video, cant stop watching it! LOVE IT!!!!

  • The reaction of the young boy to his rescue is priceless. Fleeting and unfettered joy after interminable entombment is a fantastic image amongst the tragic scenes from Hati

  • This boy must be depicted as the symbol of LIFE...for the entire world to see how a person can not only survive such a horrible catastrophe , but also open his little arms and grin! He´s a little angel! :D

  • How beautiful...free spirited child!

  • What a happines. Its made worth the trouble. God bless all the people who are helping in Haiti. This boy shows to world what is the human, over classes, countries or religion. Thanks for this video and a big hug from Brasil. We also loose precious souls there, our brothers, our pride.

  • Stop using public computers for your nonsense remarks. Go back to your trailer park, get your welfare check and take care of your sister's kids (your kids)

  • I think under the circumstances the Haitians have shown great restraint. If that was the USA I am sure the looting and rioting would have been wide spread and far worst.

  • fuck you too. People are dying dumbass. Go craw back into a hole and fucking die.

  • I hope you never need help and some one like you is around cause you knoiw what they will say right you got it. fuck you

  • Great news!

  • Seeing that boy brought tears to my eyes. This video is great.

  • me 2

  • willbackbone u r a complete asshole god help u if u ever find ur self in that situation these people are fighting to survive anything go's in a situation like this

  • @LucyTiltman I totally agree with you Lucy, in relation to this stupid WillblacKbone comment! Some people don't even deserve to breath!!!!

  • it is not looting. People are desperation. If it was white people doing that it would be survival. It would not be called looting. What did you think was going to happen? If they don't take the food , either way it's going to waste

  • WOW! Are you serious? Have you ever been in a catastrophe? These people are not looting...they are surviving. For a profit or not, they need to live. you would and will do whatever you need to do to survive. Please don't make comments like this unless you have been in the same situation bc you don't know what things you will do.

  • Several,We have had Earthquakes not to the severity of Haiti, but awful wildfires & mudslides. Many homes in my area & sandbagged right now for fear of mudslides. They are looting when it's not food. You are saying that if my neighbor didn't have any water & I did I would sell it to him WRONG.When we had the fires a family had their house burned all the way down.I let them stay in my casida(guest house)for free So you ARE WRONG. Your justifying stealing USA has sent $300+ million & people still loot

  • Obviously, from what you are saying here, you have money. These people have NOTHING from the start. You can sit back in your cozy home on your MAC or PC and talk about what poor people do. YOU ARE NOT IN THEIR SHOES...do not judge.

  • Stop judging? that the biggest crap I have ever heard. We as people judge evalualte things & others, its called decision making. The Bible doesn't say that anyway. All that says to me is don't critcize me if you screw up. I made every dime I have, my parents lived paycheck to paycheck and I decided I wasn't going to live that way. So i worked 3 jobs and put myself thru college and people have opportunity they are just lazy. Especially people in the caribbean they are among the laziest in the world

  • I also earned every single penny thru work, my parents went thru the Holocaust, spent 4 years in the concentration camps and I still don´t think any people in the world desreves that. If they are lazy or not, that doesn´t give us the right to think they desreve such a disgrace!! And u know what? If we get happy (or neutral) at other people´s disgrace this cannot be a good thing. You must be a very unhappy person...

  • It's not that they are lazy, there isn't work available to them. You, living in malibu wouldn't understand that. They have a corrupt government and are trying to get back on their feet. yeah, they are waiting for handouts, becasue thats their only hope. Even most of the lucky ones who found employment before the quake can't return to work, seeing as their workplace is in ruines.

  • what a douche bag

  • Dude...you are seriously clueless. seriously

  • USA has sent all that money and it isn't touching the hands of the Haitians. You make it seem like they all have a hot meal tonight thanks to that money. Give me a break you know better. You see a video of 30 people looting and the entire population is nothing but lazy people. You need help

  • Whoa im sorry but I have to disagree with you on that! The Haitian are far from being lazy people, If anything they ae the hardest working people. Its the Americans who are lazy. I myself is an American and had the expericence of living in Haiti for a year. So please dont talk about something you know nothing about. Before you have anything negative to say, please do your research. If you want to talk or have any questios, feel free to ask. But dont think for once these ppl are lazy! Please!

  • I was responding to another person who said they are lazy. I know they aren't lazy. My comment didn't come off right. I agree with you one hundred percent

  • Oh Ok gotcha! When I saw lazy Haitians my heart just dropped! But I understand it now, thanks!

  • loved the outstretched arms! like he was giving them all a warm hug...

  • @disneylandman66 you're nuts???????

  • I was kidding—I was making fun of Pat Robertson's stupid comment that Haiti had made a deal with the devil, and that's why they had an earthquake. This remarkable clip of this innocent child's rescue—and joy— made Robertson's comments all the more insane.

  • So ...forgive me...I got so angry!!! I even commented on your comment with some people...gee!!! I´m not American but I had heard anything about this guy, Pat Robertson, but thought it wasn´t true...so it is true he said that! My goodness!!! How come?! Cheers! ;D

  • Because Pat Robertson is a crazy, terrible person. We Americans are not all bad!

  • They should've given him water in like 2 secs

  • @nawitus , they probably were able to pass water bottles to them long before they were able to get a hole big enough to pull them out.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • so glad that those two are ok!

  • that little boy just made me cry. absolutely wonderful

  • God bless all these rescue workers

  • He opened his arms for his second chance to live.

  • a week under rubble & he's so grateful to be saved. bless his heart. and the ppl that saved him

  • whoever that little boy is he is now my new "Greatest Champion"/ 8 days no food,no water & he came out like a heaveyweight champion having defeated death against all odds with hand held high and a smile on his face like that was nothing..."Icould have done another 8" little man your my hero/certainly angels and manna from heaven kept him so strong for no human explaination can otherwise suffice~!!!!
