Nice car man, and Will, I have the Flowmaster 40's they sound deep. Very nice sound. MAC's even work. The duals are working very well, that's just what I recommend.
V6's are awesome sounding mustangs. Like mini Clevelands that you can build up. Sounds way better than most MAC systems I've heard recorded. Nice job, Like it.
ok my 98 v6 mustang takes like 20 minutes before i can shift it into drive when its cold out (its automatic) and in the summer i have no problem with it, does anyone know what is wrong?
i have a 1998 model v6 3.8litr but for some reason it keeps not wanting to run.. we just replaced the CCRM and the fuel pump and acouple other things but for some reason it starts but it doesnt want to keep running, it struggles its not really getting that much fuel in the valve
@nicknsk8er you sure it's a fuel problem? i guess if you say it's not getting fuel it could be injectors. if it's running really rough before it dies it may be a vacuum issue. check the things like the vacuum lines and pcv valve
@jihadsquad07 we found out a couple weeks ago, all it was, was a hole in the cables connecting the fuel pump. 2.50cents part lol.. we replaced about 800$ worth of stuff. so basically its a brand new car that i have yea yea :P
Well like Xio said, sounds better than stock and looks better too, I'm not trying to sound like a v8 cause i'm not, but it still sounds nice. And i'll take this over a 4 banger with a tin can any day.
meh, I wouldn't say that. Unless you only like hearing american v8's then yeah. but In my opinion, this sounds good. it isn't a v8, but it still sounds waaay better than stock, and certainly sounds better than most shitty import fart cans.

@ilovesilvia69 But dude, the wrx is a different ballpark. the wrx is a more high end car all around and you pay for it in price as well. compare a used wrx price wise to a 3.8 mustang. usually you'll pay atleast 2k more. I'm sure price varies from location to location. however, I'm referring to honda civics, ludes, nissan 240's etc. entry level sports cars. and when it comes down to it, the 3.8 mustang IS an entry-level sports car. wrx imo is in a different car class all together.

And it's a quick car if you tune it and it's a mean motherfucker if you add a turbo or super charger. Anyway, one more note about the wrx, that car has it's own unique sound, it's unlike anything else I've heard from god-zilla land and it sounds like sex. I basically saying, I agree but to be perfectly realistic, this IS just a base model mustang.

I'll give u a hint. It's not cause of the mufflers used. No matter what mufflers u use nothing is gonna sound better than a good sounding engine to begin w/.

I have a 1994 v6 and was wondering what pipe would be the best?
Flowmaster super 44? 40 series?
A full system or a separate de- catted x pipe with mufflers added?
Some say keep to one pipe but the duals look great!
Any ideas??

I had that set up when I had a v6.. Best set up by far for the 3.8. I have even considered getting a similar set up for my GT..

Well like Xio said, sounds better than stock and looks better too, I'm not trying to sound like a v8 cause i'm not, but it still sounds nice. And i'll take this over a 4 banger with a tin can any day.
