why you dont get thermal with that stock micro-t ?

firstly because she is on dyno. not much resistance. secondly I used get shutdowns rarely on road too.

Thermal is all about current thourgh the esc. too much current; shutdown. So a few tips for less current demending motor:

*dont punch gas/brake too much

*make sure your diff is healthy, and loosen trans box a little by that 3 long screws

*no hair/dirt on dogbones or cups

*if your are using threaded shafts, loosen nuts a little

*use smallest pinion, smallest tires

*use bearings

all together they will make a diffrence but still you will get shutdowns.For example, when you hold both tires, motor will stall, and demand much more current, unlike that nimh, this lipo can give that much and shut the esc down.

no perfect solution that I know, visit "microtforum" for more.

yes it does, not because it is aluminum, it is because of 49t. Will add a few miles more. I like it, you may buy alu peds too.

thanks man. 3s lipo is great but the charger sucks, just buy the battery not combo. Charger doesnt have a balancer (you NEED a balancer for a 3s lipo) , thus order a balancer/charger also. Or buy you may buy a combo, and use the stupid charger on travel, rarely.

That's so freakin cool but does your esc or motor get hot quickly with a 3 cell lipo and brushless? Also how did you get the 3 cell to fit a micro-t chassis? I thought they only fit a extended chassis... Oh well.

Thank you. Brusshless can handle 3s, even though I run on 14/49 setup on carpet, I never had a problem. As you can see 3s fits in the micro-t chassis. Hovewer If you using stock chassis, yes it wont fit in the batt compartment. You may put the esc there, batt and rx on top.
