While it may be true that many Muslims are peaceful citizens of whatever country they inhabit, it only takes a few of different mindset to cause hideous death and destruction. Just type in "Muslims attack Vicar" into your search engine and you will be SHOCKED at the sheer number of these cases. I heard of some builders repairing a church wall who were stoned by muslims passing in cars, who also shouted "This church will soon be a mosque!". The vicar told the builders he had also been attacked. That is why I tapped the phase into my search engine, but was not expecting just how frequent these incidents are, so just who is being "racist"?

The biggest danger is that muslim extremists will fuel extremism amongs the non-muslim community (BNP/christian fundies) who in turn will drive more muslims into the arms of extremists. Since muslim populations arn't evenly distributed, one area could become majority muslim, gradually become more radicalised and trigger civil war. A typical European nation in 2050 could be split into an Iranian style theocracy on the one hand and something resembling the film V for Vendeta on the other.

Actually they were a driving force in technological advances once upon a time. Consequently this was the time of the Islamic conquests. Nowadays however they aren't doing much as far as technology is concerned and I believe that this is a tell-tale sign that the individual attacks will be as small-scaled as they've been ie. bombings and gunnings, not getting involved in politics and basically just being pricks
