Pretty Much a HUGE surprise,picked up a brand new copy of "Split Second"[PS3] @ Gamestop for 15 bucks & was really not expecting it to be such a fantastic racer,but WOW! this game kicks ass~also was not expecting my "Logitech DFGT" wheel to function with it,but holy shit! not only does it work,it works f'n GR8! if you are playing "Split Second" with a "Standard Controller" it's a VERY good game,but when played with a "DFGT" it is truly Amazing! either way~GET THIS GAME.

The best arcade racer of the current generation, second only to the 360 versin of Burnout Revenge. The AI can be brutally unfair at times, and the power play cam can often stitch you up (zooming away to the action just as your own car is heading into a corner), but these are minor grievances. People bitch about IGN but their reviews can often be helpful, as was this one for me when weighing up whether to buy S/S.

Confusing tracks? Oh no! The game causes a big boom which topples a building on the track! Thats as confusing as it gets and it only takes one or two laps to remember where to go after that.

wow after seeing the review on brink i had to check out how my favourite game was doing. the piont in a racing game is to have hard ai other wise it's like a shoot em up where the ai dont shoot back. and you carnt bitch and moan since you carnt spot the corners your all just pissed off that you carnt rewind a mistake like in the simple as piss forza where you can have the braking done for you and the driving line shown to you. @yoyks 9.6 from me. The BEST racing game I've played, because of its mixture of normal racing tactics, as well as environmental dangers. Personally, I'm mainly playing most of Valve's FPS games (TF2, L4D2, HL2), but I definitely would play this game. Though I am stuck to the singleplayer demo, it never gets old.

I just got this today and I'm kinda busy so I didn't get to play a lot yet so I just finished the first episode and did a quick race with my bro, it's a really cool game. The AI is not harsh as the reviewer says, I won just about every race (there was one race I came in 3rd because I crashed near the end) The tracks are a little bit confusing though, I'll give him that.
