"Now many of our Christians have what I call the goo-goo syndrome - good government. They want everybody to vote. I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down."
Paul Weyrich, co-founder of The Heritage Foundation.
THF is NOT a credible source of information. It's full of distortions and lies. They have absolutely no credibility whatsoever, because they spoiled it for themselves with their consistent lie after lie and lie.
@a1mint How about enlightening me as to just what lies and distortions HF are guilt of? You can't just claim someone is lying and then not show proof that they are.
@mcap52 Google for heritage foundation lies. Plenty of evidence all over the map.
For one, the utter horse crap lies they've barfed up about global warming, is a stinking lie. Warming trends are very very real. Their downplaying and lying about a non-existing cooling effect and how it's all part of a normal cycle is a LIE LIE LIE.
Here's part 8 of a miniseries on actual global warming. Watch it, compare it to the heritage foundation's distortions and lies, and then realize how whatever else they say, deserved the utmost scrutiny.

Whatever else theories and claims they make, apply this:
People need to be as informed as possible--don't just hear a sound-bite and think you know the whole story. The "MSM" does not appear to be asking questions where questions should be asked in order to do what they went into journalism to do:find the truth, expose the facts, help people make informed choices. Most media appears to cater to what they believe is--or should be--popular opinion. Viewers need to listen and, more importantly, discuss WITHOUT the 'I'm right and you're damned!" stance.
Isn't it funny how people voted for the "Chosen One" because he declared that he could unite all the races, but now there is more racial tensions then before he took office? Alot of zombies got duped.

I wish someone would try and intimidate me. I would cast my vote and then go kick their asses.
