... yeah. Way to rehash the same bull over again. Come on, if you actually want people to pay attention to the true nature of the energy crisis, you can't just say the same crap they did in the 90s.
wow, Nazis of the 21 century. who cares about your rights to drive a safer car, and not a shitty tin can. also, lets bow down to the animals.. I'm voting for "A BIRD" in 08, if everyone does this, we can have a Robin as the next Pres!! Hurray! Go Green!
I ♥ this video. It has a good storyline that's funny, but teaches us 3 lessons about environmental protection we all can benefit from: DONT DRIVE HUMMERS, DONT BY HUGE HOUSES BECAUSE YOUR INSECURE, and DONT VOTE BUSH.
Global warming is not a scam it's part of a cycle. Yeah we've screwed ourselves by bringing it on quicker but honestly if you read up on some of the Earth's history this is not the first instance of global warming. The time shall come, thousands of years from now, when the magnetic poles will switch, the ozone shall be no more (neither will much of any other life on Earth), and the groove will go on. There's an ice age somewhere in there, too.
Are you kidding me? you do realize that all this go green shit is all anti corporate propaganda, aimed at infuriating the middle class, and leading them to believe that the upper class with their fancy cars are killing us all. thus leading to further separation between the classes, making the country ripe for more liberal social welfare programs, and heavier taxes on the rich.
this film shows a real message to global warming and how serious it is people making to much carbon fact:the least amount of carbon in one day is 88457700998tonnes in most of the globe
Ethanol is a scam! It takes more than twice as much ethanol to output the same energy. If ethanol was 1.5$/gallan while gas was 3$/gallon it would cost as much or more for the ethanol. It is a corporate scam. We need to use the oil reserves we have on U.S. soil. There is trillions of gallons of oil. The reason we do not utilize it is because of political bullshit and greed. The same goes for hydrogen powered cars. The technology exists yet no one is interested. Greed.
Nice. LilPokeMonster asks if those are the Happy Feet penguins, Shamu, and Klondike the Polar Bear. Enough hooks to capture the heart of an 8yo boy. V. sweet.
Ah, yes, hybrids. Because using ever-so-slightly less of a polluting fuel source is a far more valid idea than using a fuel source which is non-polluting or carbon-neutral...
Y'know, when you'r trying to explain about environmental impact to people, the fact that you're target audience is lacking knowledge IS NOT a good reason to have your message put across by someone equally ignorant.
Going green will be forced on me? Like hell. If you hippies were anything close to intelligent, you would realize that "going green" will only work if the savings is there and obvious for the mass consumer. Dont' like it? Too bad, welcome to capitalism. Spend less time making videos about forcing a man to drive a hybrid, and more time researching how to make a better hybrid.
I agree 100%. Too bad most environmental groups don't get it, and usually divert resources from plans that actually have a realistic chance of helping the environment. I leased a car this past year, and the hybrid version was not cost efficient. Hopefully, in 3 years it will be improved, and I'll pick one up.
It's a nice animation, too bad people still believe that responsibility has to be cost efficient, otherwise its not worth it.. Oh well.. fuck our kids, and everyone that dies via floods or droughts. right?
btw if we're talking about force, I live in Southern California and the people here are FORCED to drive everywhere because NOTHING is built within walking distance and public transportation is corrupted by the oil industry.
You mean there was no floods or droughts before industry came out? You mean the world was not a hot humid jungle and then covered with ice? My god!!! my high school science class lied to me!
We must all make ourselves heard. We are the sleeping green giant that the military industrial complex hath created. A new day is upon us as we come to full self-realization of our finite destiny and act today, as we revel in the apocalypse that looms.
Public transportation is not corrupted by the oil industry, there has yet to be a public transportation system that doesn't hemorrage $, b/c no resources have been put towards research into it. With government subsidized research into alternative fuel/transportation, it will become cost efficient, then be picked up by the private sector/consumers. Otherwise, it will never happen.
It would be nice if people chose to give up $ for the sake of the environment, but a lot of people don't have that luxury. Instead of just saying "fossil fuels are evil," the realistic solution is to make fossil fuel tech worthless. Solar panels, hybrid tech, etc, research needs backing, not hysterical ranting against the problem. Keep in mind, many 3rd world countries will soon be going through industrialization.
I do not care for your candor nor your name calling; nevertheless, your point is taken. Demand must precede supply, if not expressed on a majority scale, development of green energy will be slow. The hybrid was born obsolete. Unfortunately the market forces of capitalism keep this possibility at bay; 'capital' will continue to use the highly profitable oil/gas infrastructure that is already available. Thus, the choice that the consumer faces is limited to options - oil driven.

Hmm... Originality is hard to come by...
part of the reason why I haven't made anything worth
note taking. *cries*
The animation is good... I'd expect more from the
professionals though.

Hope is for the weak of will. You may create this reality tomorrow, perhaps today. If you choose not to enforce change, change will not enforce.

overpopulation, how about you hippies start a movement where you don't have kids. That would help the environment too ya know...

Do not take this the wrong way. You are right in what you say, but why "Public transportation". It is a bus.
I like the word bus. It is easy to spell, it is short, and I know what your talking about.
