Andrew McCarthy is a really good actor.I almost forgot that. He has expressions that somehow say it all. Drama only drama for him, not comedy like that disaster "Weekend at Bernie's"
The blanket wrap is taken from a traditional courtship ritual--so it's real. :) It's the man offering the blanket, though, not the woman taking him in. Then they sit together and the tribe gives them privacy. It's a sign of interest and serious intent (from what I've read).
I love the part with the blanket wrap scene! It was kinda a lame pick-up line but it worked, and they actually did that...so I thought it was pretty darn cute!
