If you look REAL CLOSE, those seem to be two different rifles. the first one when he turns it to look for a mfg stamp, much the way Roger Craig described the discovery, and it sure looks like a Mauser. The second scene on this clip, with Day putting the hanky on it to handle it, is a different color stock and the length of the barrel looks different than the first one. Maybe not, but sure don't look like the same rifle to me
