  • omg where does this event takes place? is it traveling? please tell!!!!!

  • Yes, it's traveling around the world. It's a French company based in Nantes called "La Machine". They've got all kinds of shows going around the world. Check them out on Google.

  • Wow I wish I had seen that! The spider in Liverpool was cool. Especially when you saw just a few giant legs creeping around the corner of a street.

  • Train booked, Hotel booked, Liverpool here I come... (great vid btw)

  • lmfao

  • These people have a new machine in Liverpool September to celabrate Liverpool as European Capital of Culture 2008

  • And its a SPIDER

Holy fuck thats going to be terrifying

  • what Liverpool as a European capital of culture 2008? is it more than one :P stavanger where i live was European capital of culture 2008 too hmm, it was just a show now last week to celebrate that we was culture capital this year...

  • I like the music... what is it? Could you tell me the name of the artist and the song?

  • I wish I had seen it. Actually I'd be happy with a decent video of it. Whoever made this one managed to cut away EVERY SINGLE TIME the elephant was about to take a step, which leads me to believe that the legs don't really move and they were trying to avoid showing that. Otherwise I don't understand why they'd do that, since watching it walk would pretty much be the whole reason I'd want to see it. Impressive elephant, disappointing video.

  • It walks, there are other videos that show that. This video just doesn't show it.

  • Freeking amazing.

  • DAMN, its a shame they dint use the actual music frm the show!! it was awesome, the bass actually pounded ur heart!! was

  • Cool music, never heard of them before and I love the video too

  • thank you for mating the elephant image with the pony song. you've no idea what magic you've paired up...

  • hey man whyd they burn her she was so cool!?

  • that's a rocket

  • ok sorry that just wasnt very clear.

  • The only way something can be scary is if ur afraid of death...so just say ur afraid to die next time instead of "that is the scariest thing i have ever seen".

  • Ummm... okay.

  • You can't see death though.

  • that is the scariest thing i hav ever seen ... no joke. Think about it people make things like that for entertainment, one day they will make one that doesnt need strings and is remotecontrol, then one that moves on its own free to make choices. Man-kind is too curious and too foolish, it scares me what we are capable of ...

  • stop smoking that stuff...

  • wtf?

  • it was absolutely awesome!

    music fits perfectly

  • Is the song by Psapp?

  • Yes, the music is "Velvet Pony" from the album "Tiger, My Friend." The entire album's amazing!

  • amazing i wish america had stuff like this, ppl are 2 uncultured here for something so artistic.

  • mate - look up 'burning man'

  • At least we are not so unintelligent as to make broad assumptions about something we know nothing about. I for one would be delighted to see this performance live.

  • Can you please tell me where this song is from?

  • Beautiful. With lovely music too.

  • that awsome!!!

  • WTF was that?! Took me a moment to realize that the girl was HUGE! Very intriguing...

  • my day spent with the little girl & elephant was the best day of my life. Nice to read the other responses of people who shared teh joy. And please please can someone what the track is set to this piece. Just gorgeous. xxxx

  • What's the name of the song playing in the video?

  • nice, enough said.

  • cool,...

  • Wicked...I want what their smoking

  • My sister and her boyfried were one of the usherers (yellow shirt people) - she loved it all :D

  • Magical. Great choice of music. I am sitting her with goosebumps all over my body. Cheers. cubik

  • I was there! It was fantastic. Shame the actual music isn't posted. The giant-girl had cool Cajun choons blasting from her carriage/vehicle/P.A. the elephant had a live band on a separate rig playing a excellent rocking loop that morphed into indian/surreal/rifftastic reel

  • The music is available on CD!!

We went hunting - it's 'Jules Verne Impact' by 'Les Balayeurs du désert' - all the info is here: http://www.nantes-tourisme.com/99985674/1/fiche___pagelibre/

  • Wow! How'd this get funded?

  • Mainly through the Arts Council and some private sponsorship :)

  • Question? What song was playing along with that video?

  • The song is called "Velvet Pony" by Psapp. The album is called "Tiger, My Friend." (The entire album's pretty great).
