Great cover! I also checked this one out cause it's on of my fav's too. I've been in bar bands all my life and have done several Kansas tunes, but never could get the other guys to work this one up.

Lots of people tell me I sound very close to Steve, even now at 55! But it's good to see Kansas is still playin and we are all prayin for Kerry.

Does any one know where I can get a Karaoke version of this song? Or other Kansas songs?

Pretty good if I do say so myself. It all almost sounds like the real song. You didn't look to comfortable singing and didn't sound too comfortable for that matter. But nonetheless a good job.

well I wanted to act too much happy or funny so it was more serious but I liked doing it. The problem was that I cant sing that high like the original singer, so I sang it my way and used a technical trick to double the vocals:) But thanx anyway!Bernd

This was awesome. I love this song and you did a pretty much spot on job. My only real gripe is that the keyboards were barely audible. If you got a more real sounding violin and pumped up the keyboard volume, this would be, to put it bluntly, fucking awesome to the max. Great job.

we knew that but we are not good on keyboards but on drums and guitar;)

At some point I hope to do full covers of all of their songs, but I have yet to find the musicians required for the other parts (besides Walsh's part essentially) and have to fully notate the songs yet.

I have now watched four of your videos..and was impressed by ALL of them. BUT, I think you truly outdid yourself in this particular cover. It was VERY well performed....and the drummer showed some awesome chops. I don't EVER make two comments to the same person, but I have to say that I look forward to more of your work! Wow, this was like totally cool. I very rarely view anything other than the original musicians and got lazy and clicked on this one. I'm glad I did. I am originally from central Kansas and saw Kansas many times as a bar band, White Clover doing cover tunes before adding Kerry and doing original stuff. You guys did a great job of performing this.

It has always been one of my favorite Kansaa tunes so I had a bit of "contempt before investigation" as to whether I would like it and I must say 5 stars. It's not an easy tune to play.
