In Generations, Perfect Chaos looks a lot like a water monster version of Biollante, what with him having scales and an underbelly that glows green, like how Biollante's underbelly glows orange and yellow.
I think he looks better on Generations. But both fights looks fairly easy, that´s disapointing. I played the Gamecube version of Sonic Adventure and I don´t remember this boss fight. It´s some special way to get this fight?
The only thing I don't get about this fight is the order the music is in. I always thought the Orchestral Piece should have come in first, giving the player a sense of hopelessness, and then switch to Open your Heart, giving the player a sense of confidence. I still love both Music tracks either way. I don't see how the new design looks anything like a Lizard, to me it looks like they just put the armor on and updated the graphics. Otherwise, they look about the same to me.
@mitchgamelover You make a good point if that shitty ass sonic 06 game did then why did sonic advenutres not do it?sometimes sega really pisses me off.
Ah, Open your Heart is still my favorite Sonic theme, as is the remix in Generations, but I do like the Revival theme that plays during the second phase of the Dreamcast version and the final hit of the Generations version.
I personally think that the tracks should have been reversed in the fight. First go with some song to pump things up, then go with the vocalized theme afterwards. :P
i wish the made a boss for every game that had a stage metal maddness, nega wisp, but there has to be one thing whats the next game gonna be if they cant use classic sonic lets wait and see ;)
I gotta say, looking at the two fights side by side, it's amazing how much cooler Perfect Chaos looks in Generations. In Sonic Adventure, his in-game model looks pretty ridiculous, especially with that quivering lip. I know that the original fight with him was fun, if not fairly easy, but how is the Generations fight in comparison?
@GenesisSanctuary In my opinion I prefered the old design. The new one isn't horrible but I would've prefered it if they kept it strictly water based and not this alien godzilla look bullshit. The old design to me was going for an actual god like twisted spiritual being. Thus with the floppy lip making it look more twisted. I dislike the new design because it goes for every design ever made in history. A lizard like creature. It make no sense to me at all really.
@Slaphappygam3r Fun fact: Perfect Chaos was originally meant to look the way he does in Sonic Generations in Sonic Adventure. However, because of the graphical limitations of the Dreamcast, they had to go with the watery appearance. In fact, looking at the CGI cutscenes in Sonic Adventure, Perfect Chaos actually looks almost exactly like how he ended up looking in Generations.
I hope I'm not intruding by giving my two cents. I both like and dislike Chaos's Generations look. I like how its more spread out,it looks less cramped. I don't like how solid it looks. Throughout Sonic Adventure Chaos's forms were random and the final form was this creepy mass of liquid giving off the vibe that you can't touch it. The Generations one doesn't really give off that vibe even with the graphical upgrade.

I've played both versions and I can safely say I prefer the new Perfect Chaos in design, music and the overall boss fight. Just my opinion.

@ruy1981 beat all the story lines in the game and when you go to select a level, there will be one more there. That's the final boss fight

@callofthecreed Thanks, I just finished Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy storylines. The one with Blue I just couldn´t going further. Boring as hell.

Hold on, if Sonic could kick Chaos' ass without the emeralds in Generations, why could he in Sonic Adventure? Oh yeah... He's a wuss.
Come & get me fangirls/fanboys.

Now that I take a look at it, it's pretty much the armor's scaly texture that makes him look like a lizard.

I've played Sonic Generations, and what's weird is that I've never seen Perfect Chaos on the original Sonic Adventure before.

@GenesisSanctuary That's gay. "Let's make a water monster into a part lizard thing. It's not like every creator has done that before"
