This documentary never mentioned one death associated with marijuana or driving under the influence like alcohol or major addictive prescription drug warnings, warn against.. Maybe i missed something that the DEA or the Federal government is keeping from the public? I should watch this again, should to be certain.. Weed made some of my best friends pot heads. All they want to do is to go smoke somewhere and do nothing. Whenever I see them they are high, burnt out, or looking for a place to get high. A couple months ago we could have fun without having to be drunk or high. Now I just miss them so much. They can do whatever they want, I just wish things were like it was before.

I have friends who smoke all day long and are still totally functional, and others who flat-out can't do shit when they're stoned. It's about gauging your tolerance and knowing when you need to stop. I think decriminalization would be a momentous step toward properly educating the masses on this issue.

What this doesn't mention is all the people that DIE daily directly because of the Marijuana (and other drugs) trade. People hung from bridges by their feet with their heads chopped off, Women, babies, teenagers, cops sustaining gunshots, countries virtually turning into war zones so that a bunch of dudes can get high and chill for a while, have a good time. While families mourn their loved ones at the morgue.

@unkilledsk8 i lived in amsterdam for two years and i used to smoke a lot of pot, it is addictive, at least psychologically (which is even tougher to control than physical).
If it was so good for you it would be legal idiot. Theres a reason for everything.
What you are saying is lets legalize heroin so that theres no more illegal trade of it. dont be ridiculous..

@Luishazong Cannabis is only mildly addictive much the same way sugar is, you obviously haven't done any research into why it is kept illegal if you would have you'd have found that Cannabis has fewer side effects than aspirin, and no no one is saying legalize heroin the fact that you compare the two shows how limited your understanding is and you also show that you lack any self control because even long tern heavy users can quit with minimal difficulty.

Weed made some of my best friends pot heads. All they want to do is to go smoke somewhere and do nothing. Whenever I see them they are high, burnt out, or looking for a place to get high. A couple months ago we could have fun without having to be drunk or high. Now I just miss them so much. They can do whatever they want, I just wish things were like it was before.

you can smoke weed anywhere if you don't have a licence, don't mean it's legal lol.
But to actually answer your question, the laws in Canada are enforced which much more leniency so if you're caught with a g or 2 you're not looking at much, maybe just them taking it away, if that.

responsible and moderate use of marijuana is a fantastic way to improve your life. i slayed depression and anxiety with the help of pot. I find great reassurance in knowing that at the end of a long, shitty day, I can relax with a nice bowl to the face, and suddenly, everything that was bothering me a minute ago seems so minuscule, allowing me to cope accordingly. some people have a beer, some burn one down, but in the end, isn't it all the same? why on earth is this stuff so fiercely condemned?

Ha I love you too and I know what you mean. Like I said, moderation is the key whether you're drinking or blazing. I have friends who smoke all day long and are still totally functional, and others who flat-out can't do shit when they're stoned. It's about gauging your tolerance and knowing when you need to stop. I think decriminalization would be a momentous step toward properly educating the masses on this issue.

An addict is not a criminal, an addict is a sick person. Be it heroin, chocolate, alcohol or cheeseburgers. If the government control the substance, then it would make the streets safer, while providing the addicts with the appropriate help. All drugs should be legalized. Criminals don't profit when its the governments (a.k.a. the citizens) who are in charge.

Educate the public then legalize it. In Amsterdam, they bring ex-addicts into schools to explain to the children the true consequences of crack, heroin, cocaine...
If an addict can go into an hospital to get his stuff, that mean he wont have to steal or sell his body to get the money for it. Such programs have worked in Switzerland during the 90's heroin epidemic. You get less crime and safer conditions for the addict to get help.
