the movie wont interest you if you havent watched the show. the cast in the movie is the next generation cast, which was on the tv show for like 8 years or something,but now since this cast is grown up, and in their early 20's, they have a new cast on the tv show, so they made this movie to bring back the original next generation cast, but you wont understand the characters if you haven't watched the show the past 8 years or so.

it was filmed in california so naturally it would premiere first in the us.

It actually wasn't filmed in California. The beach scenes were but other then that everything else was filmed in Toronto.
