Jeez, I remember watching this before I knew anything about Sid and Nancy/the Sex Pistols. This movie makes Nancy look hideous. She wasn't classically beautiful but she was still pretty. Kurt's brainchild (LOVE Kills) Sid & Nancy because music producer Mutt Lange brought INXS & Adam & The Ants to meet me. Adam & The Ants managed by The Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren. The title comes from Amy (my name) meaning BeLOVEd. "Kills" comes from Michael Hutchence recording the song "Speed Kills" for '82 movie Freedom. I even helped out on the song by Joe Strummer (mentioning Alabama).

In fact the Sex Pistols themselves HAD to make a documentary in 1999 called THE FILTH & THE FURY to put the record straight because the reality was their records were banned their TV exposure

Alex Cox the director got the look of Sid , Lydon , & the look of a 1977 Punk audience totally wrong. The reality is Sid might have looked good but was a weak person hence his demise
