Sorry to ask this but could you give me a list of the chapters i should visit that have collections of heart pieces and Skultulas? I'm aiming to get all the hearts i can and skulltulas are just a bonus :P Thanks ~

This video walkthrough is me following my own walkthrough on our website, which is "over the top." I recommend you switch to that so you can skim over it and see where the collectables are. This would be a lot easier than watching the videos, though, if you prefer video, you can also look at the Video Walkthrough pages on the website too, which has listings alongside each video that highlight timestamps (pieces of heart, skulltulas, items).

Also stun the Lizalfos with a Deku nut or slingshot bullet to give yourself a second to attack them.

you don't have to wait for the dodongo to wiggle to shoot him with your slingshot. on his final hit i accedentaly shot him right after he breathed fire and it killed him. :/

Funny story: the first time I ever played this game I didn't bother to get the map in this dungeon for some reason. Then near the end of the game a came back here as an adult (that's right you can come back here as an adult but there is no piont) and found the map just out of curiosity.

IIRC you can also kill the (regular) Dodongos by throwing a bomb or bomb flower in front of them (which they will eat and then die from). It's tricky to throw it in the right spot though (especially since they will turn around to face you if you get close), so it's generally quicker just to kill them the ways you demonstrated.

Caleb ~ Wow, just tried it out! Sure enough, throw a Bomb Flower in front of them and just make sure you stand back and they'll swallow it. Those enemies are just so awkward and always turning, I thought it never worked when I tried. Thanks for letting me know!

No problem. I always found it to be so difficult to throw the bomb correctly that I usually just go in and hit them on the tail like you did. I had no idea you could kill them with the slingshot though. :-D
