Thank you, if you use cleaning solution in your own machine, your printer pretty much does the same effect. You need to dump in the cleaning solution at the first sign. You can't try to revive a head that's been sitting for a year. I have cleaning cartridges and solution too if anyone needs. The best thing is to clean out your wiper and capping unit and swipe the bottom of the head with a foam swap call for info. 855-238-3427
That' s a nice setup you got there, I might be interested in having the print head on my epson 9600 serviced. Thing is i've had it stored for 2 years and after running xxx cleaning cycles i still have a problem with air in 2 of the ink lines and can literally see about 3" of tube that is trapped air, Could you give me any advice on removing the air so i can determine the print heads need servicing? Thanks!
@svdpsy It is better to just replace some parts in your situation because your print head cannot be revived for sitting that long. Contact me to let you know which parts to replace my email is in the comment above. You are getting air because your pump is trying to pull ink out of a clogged head and there isn't enough pressure for the lines to fill up correctly. The amount of money that you would be wasting on ink to revive the head would surpass the amount for parts by X2.
