Our youth group did the 30hr Famine this weekend, we raised alot of money considering it was our first time! We also went around and got over 200 canned food for our food pantry. Did I mention there were maybe 10 people? It was amazing seeing how many people supported us, and how strong we became in Christ throughout this journey

Have you ever looked into a kid's eyes and tell them they won't have food to eat tonight or clean water to drink? There is more we can do. Have you ever been to a buffet? Have you seen how much food is wasted in a day? That could feed so many people in 3rd world countries... Some people say that it was just how they were supposed to live. I believe that this world isn't fair at all and we need to do something more... That is my view on World poverty and World hunger thank you 30 Hr Famine....

Thank you! I will be using this as a promo for my presentation when I ask for students to sign up. I think this will definatly get their attention.

I liked it. This will be my 3rd year doing the 30 hour famine (in Feb) I'm so excited. It's such an amazing experience.
