The first one is very lame. I believe in God etc. but do not believe that God really cares how long or how short your hair is. "Does not the very nature of things?" etc. just seems ridiculous too, if we're talking about the nature that God created then the very nature of things tells me men can have long hair if they want to seeing as God made us capable of doing so, and to have short hair you must artificially remove it with scissors or a knife. Short OR long is fine IMO.
Personally I'm either way, if a guy wants his hair short then keep it short, if he wants it medium length keep it there, if he wants it long let it grow long, if he wants it in a mohawk who am I to protest, makes no difference. I think the verse in Numbers refers to a Nazirite, who made certain vows to God and had to abstain from alcohol, let his hair grow long, and follow other strictures as an outward sign of his dedication to God. I think you could compromise by wearing a long wig. I don't think there's anything in the Bible AGAINST wearing wigs. I mean, those English barristers wear them, and they never get struck dead by God, right?

The first one is very lame. I believe in God etc. but do not believe that God really cares how long or how short your hair is. "Does not the very nature of things?" etc. just seems ridiculous too, if we're talking about the nature that God created then the very nature of things tells me men can have long hair if they want to seeing as God made us capable of doing so, and to have short hair you must artificially remove it with scissors or a knife. Short OR long is fine IMO.

He talks about earlier traditions and how a woman must always cover her head with a veil because she is lower than a man. Woman came from man, not man from woman, and therefore a sign of authority must be placed upon her head.Interesting it says in the video "14-16", but it cuts off verse 16, read it.

I think the verse in Numbers refers to a Nazirite, who made certain vows to God and had to abstain from alcohol, let his hair grow long, and follow other strictures as an outward sign of his dedication to God. I think you could compromise by wearing a long wig. I don't think there's anything in the Bible AGAINST wearing wigs. Although when I first read the Bible things like this..the haircut/long hair things really annoyed me and confused me. But seriously, I wasn't really trying to understand the whole message behind it. This is being taken out of context. It's not a moral thing about the hair. It was a personal instruction to an individual for their life journey. For Samson not cutting it wasn't the issue, it was about if he was gonna do what God personally asked him to do outta respect when people pressured him.
