I saw Level 42 play in October 2008. I think all the tracks they did on that particular gig were old, from when they had their original lineup.
They even played some stuff like The Machine Stops, Turn It On, and Pursuit of Accidents, as well as the classics and the obligatory bass solo / Love Games.
There were some young people (in their 20s) there really dancing and going for it.
It was a fantastic night, as is every one of their gigs.
Damn, first saw them in Guildford Surrey back in 1984 I think. And all the gigs I have seen since, the highs and the lows, this vid seems to prove the banter and style and skill and the love and appreciation from the band and the fans to each other is still going!
There will never ever be a band quite like Level 42 again. Thanks guys.
oh i know .. but hes not too full of himself that he s not grateful to his fans .. that i ve heard from others ... he looks round as if to say' ok who are they whistling at... ohhh me ? big smile .." lol thats so funny!
This was the Nottingham gig wasn't it? If so I was there a few rows behind you and the boys banged out some classics that night. Love Games the best for me.
