Wicca is focused on nature. Nature is not God, it is a false idol as far as I'm concerned. Even worshiping angels is wrong. You are not to worship God's creations(trees, water masses, etc), but only God. That is my opinion. I'm on the more lesser extreme. I'm sure most people who are Wicca, are really good people and mean well. However, the God that I know doesn't care about goodness, as he does what is right.

@donnylester There is no doubt about that. My intentions are try and make them understand as best I can that what we believe is not harmful to them. Personally I believe that most of this hate has been caused through fear and false accusations made on account of that fear. @CafeColoredToffee actually its not, in England you can't legally get married in a pagan or Wicca ceramony, you can have a civil service and then a wicca wedding that is as legally binding as playing wedding in the playground but even most other religions can get legally married in there own religious cermony in England you can't with Wicca.

In my years of being wiccan i have come across many in those religions that are open minded it is only specific christians and jews, and islamic people that you must be careful of. christianity isn't one whole religion anymore there are now branches and each branch is different some more closed minded the the other.

However,
there are practitioners in existence (in levels of the government and outside of the government) who take the powers of Paganism and use it for black magic. They are dark-lighters. They use the magic for bad intentions. It is up to Karma to see that they feel the result of their ways.
Wiccans are suppose to be white-lighters. Those who are dark-lighters are using dark magic for individual reasons that are not reflective on Wicca's authentic nature.

Wicca is focused on nature. Nature is not God, it is a false idol as far as I'm concerned. Even worshiping angels is wrong. You are not to worship God's creations(trees, water masses, etc), but only God. That is my opinion. I'm on the more lesser extreme. I'm sure most people who are Wicca, are really good people and mean well. However, the God that I know doesn't care about goodness, as he does what is right.

Personally I believe that most of this hate has been caused through fear and false accusations made on account of that fear. In my years of being wiccan i have come across many in those religions that are open minded it is only specific christians and jews, and islamic people that you must be careful of. christianity isn't one whole religion anymore there are now branches and each branch is different some more closed minded the the other.

yes, I have to agree. and we should take people case by case more often than lump them together.
My words were based in anger back then (5 months ago). Life is a growth process boh spiritually as well as physically and mentally. Enlightenment comes when and from where you least expect it.

yes life is... i'm young but i'll tell you one thing i'm older in my soul and mind then most people in this world. Some say with age comes knowledge but i say it's more of a mental thing. If you can enlighten yourself then you can become wiser... lol but i'm glad that those words were of anger rather then how you truely feel

I am a pagan who has formerly served in the military. I too was in the (Texas) Army National Guard, I was 11B (Basic Infantryman) and went to basic training and A.I.T. at Ft.Benning Georgia, I was in Echo 150 third platoon, the Widdowmakers. I have one thing to say, not derisively, and hopefully this is taken as the simple comment that it is intended to be. NO ONE is truly sane, I enlisted and served with a "psychological complex" so you are probably sane, but Service can't proove it. Blessed be
