  • why d heck is the baby still a baby here?

sucks being him going to heaven in d form of a baby and not being able to bone all the hot angels...

  • @reshbeez lol that's like [possible spoiler]

the Harmon baby in American Horror Story lol I was like, "...soooo he's just never going to grow up, and his parents are going to be taking care of a baby for all time?"

  • wheres miles and frank?

  • watched this show from day one till the ending..INCREDIBLE...and ive watched it from beginning to end on my bluray collection 5 more times back to back and fixing to start it up again..best show ever made barnone!!!

  • Best show ever, I just thought of it this morning after a couple years and decided to look it up

  • in my opinion, ben linus didnt enter the church because he was a bad man, and therefore, wouldn't be going to heaven like the rest of the people in the church, but rather, to hell.

  • @KonigNigel If you think Ben is a bad guy intentionally you obviously didnt understand the show very well

  • @liamdudeeee how is he not a bad guy? he killed locke, jacob, and all the dharma folks!

  • 24 hours!!!!

  • hwat the hell happened to the black guy and his kid and dog

  • @bangthatdrumb Michael blew up on the freighter. Ben and Hurley bring Walt back to the island in a missing pieces episode and the dog was in the video you just watched -_-

  • oh this makes me sad :( I miss LOST

  • and im still lost, great job at explaining it tho

  • I watched seasons 1-6 of LOST all on Netflix within a MONTH! I was so hooked onto it! I waited a couple of days to watch the end so I wouldn't have this feeling I have now.. I miss this show!

  • ima miss this show soo much ..i loved it it was one of the BEST shows i ever watched

  • if you miss lost then watch the new tv show "alcatraz"

  • Lost was unlike anything I have ever seen, the incredible depth of the story mixed with some beautiful writing and acting made it a stand out show. A once in a lifetime television spectacular! It was like watching poetry unfold on screen every week, I dont think there will ever be anything that will keep me guessing all the way to the end like Lost did. The ending made sense to me, although I can see why some would be fans found it to be shit. This show will always be one of the best ever < BSG!

  • @superrkoman

i know! i watched the whole thing on netflix, now its over. im crushed!! it was so fucking epic. i cried! lol lost fan!

  • Wait does Vincent have to live on the island all alone? Wtf poor Vincent

  • @Kenziegirl1515 when Jack dies Ben, Hurley, Rose, and Bernard are still there.

I loved the ending of Lost. A lot of people that i know were upset by the ending. I think you hit the nail on the head. The whole point of it was letting go. I believe the people that didn't like the ending just wanted the show to go on forever. They weren't ready to let go.

  • true story

  • The air plane at the end symbolized freedom

  • I watched all of it on Netflix

Now what the hell I'm going to do ?

    I miss lost so bad

  • @superrkoman watch The Shield, The Lost Room, Battlestar Galactica, etc there's lots :)

  • @HAZFRAME yeah but there is nothing like LOST, the show is a part of me!

  • @superrkoman yea I've definitely never cried so much (I'm a grown ass man) for a TV show. But I was so let down by the ending cause I was into the sci fi aspect of this show, and they kinda went all religious and never explained the most interesting mysteries :(

  • @superrkoman prison break!!!!!!

  • @shadowkrypton i watched it but its not as good as lost

btw i fund one that 66%like lost and even have Hugo in it

    "alcatraz"

  • @superrkoman kill yourself

  • @superrkoman Watch it again!

  • @superrkoman i watched the whole series twice. i plan on doing that until it actually gets boring. like seriously, i am lifeless.

  • Man, I'm cried so hard when I saw Jack die...I just finished the last episode on netflix, took me 2-3 months but wow... R.I.P. , Oceanic 815 Survivors..

  • Thank you i was so confused and felt sick after i finished lost

  • and wait kate, sawyer, claire, miles, and frank were on a different plane???

  • i don't really understand what they had to let go of.... just their messed up lives and everything that happened in them?

  • No Mr. Eko :(

  • Still don't get it

  • excellent thanks i just watched all ep from netflix, i thimk is one of the best show forever

  • Yes but.... WHAT ABOUT VINCENT?!

    Narrator: VINCENT, WILL LIVE

    Me: *squealing like a girl*

  • No Standing man, it all happened. What is going on in the "flash sideways" are their experiences in an afterlife so they could all remember how they lived and that everything that happened to them did happen so they could move on.

  • hang on im still confused, so everything that happened in the series was a dream, even after the plane crash?

  • How/Why did Vincent get younger?

  • The ending really was perfect. I just wished everyone else could see that

  • @Jurassicparkfan1001 That's what I think every day. So under appreciated <3

  • wheres my baby someone stole my baby! lol best part of the whole series is when claire freaks out about her fucking baby

  • It was called lost for many reasons; Lost on an unknown Island. Lost to the rest of the world. Lost souls who needed each other.

The island; the source of all life AKA the garden of Eden

  • Great Video, its how I understood it when I watched it.

Everything that happened did happen - so those who think they all died in the plane crash are wrong! basically the whole point of Christian speaking to Jack was for the audiences benefit.

They all died at different times but in the afterlife before 'moving on' to the next bit they all had to come to terms with everything together and there is no such thing as now/time in the afterlife.

  • ben has unfinished buisness

  • Also pretty funny that a Muslim dude is in a church...

  • Why did they take baby aaron to the afterlife?

Pretty sick that they murdered a baby just so he could join them when they died

  • @QuikDJ Like it says, they all died at different times in their life, baby aaron might not have even been a baby when he died, he was just represented as a baby in the afterlife because thats how they knew him.

  • All I wanted to know is are they actually all dead on the island? I thought that they all made it off the island, except hugo, ben and Jack. Lived their lives and then they were all waiting for each other in the afterlife before they could cross over, they needed everyone. All I want to know is how could they possibly be dead?

  • @kingb013 according to the video their all dead LONG after Jack died but he couldnt let go and so that being said he wasnt able to join them in the church until now thats why Kate said "she missed him so much" so everything that happened DID happen. Kate and the others that left on the plane did make it home safe

  • @Area51ZeroX Oh okay, so if it all happened. Whats the whole church thing about? That's the alternative reality isn't it?

  • Comment removed

  • @kingb013 yeah something like that cause if it wasnt like that then it wouldnt make no sense cause if they all died on the island then Penny and Aaron wouldnt be with them in that church it was confusing for me too at first

  • I just want to say that I cried during all this video because it was so hard for me to let go of this show. It is the best show I have ever seen, no other tv show will top Lost. Thanks for making this amazing video, it helped me a lot because there were things I did not understand but now I do. Thank you very much for this.

  • cool video!!!

i've watch the series two times..and my opinion and conclusion is that they died when the plain crashed..the ones that survived were the ones that needed to clear up their lives and reconstruct themselves to be better people and start all over..the island is like the intermediate between heaven and hell!!

still LOST is a mistery..there are manyyyy ways of seeing it

  • What about the bear?

  • Its been a while since i watched the series, but what are they trying to let go of?

  • To better understand the ending, I suggest you read the book "Do dead people watch you shower?" (dumb name). Main pts:

    - The book is written by a real life proclaimed "medium" who details what the afterlife is like

    - Think of the afterlife as another dimension where, to move on, you have to realise youve died, understand what you did in your life, accept it all, and then you can move on

    - The worse things you did in life, the longer it took for you to realise, accept, and move on (a la Ben)

  • I was starting to lose hope that people were smart enough to figure out what actually happened instead of blaming the show because of their own stupidity but then I found this video. I'm so glad you made this video and I think it explains it very well. Keep up the good work this video is amazing.

  • amazing material

  • can someone plz explain to me why the hell kate and sawyer didnt end up together ??? i mean they loved each other like season 2 - 4 and had sex and stuff whole bunch of time. i dont think she fucked jack once. kate and sawyer were a good match so how did kate not say anything to him. i think she was jealous of him and juliet so how come she never said anything to him wen they were alone a lot. and even juliet said she saw how sawyer looked at her had feelings still so why didnt he do anythin..

  • so jack was 1 of the first to die,,,,,,o rite

  • i hated the ending, theres no gravity to these 'sideways' scenes if we have to comb over the meaning of them on the internet. No one could pick up the relevance of what theyre saying the first time round. What a mess, lost deserved better.

  • @getup2k The flashsideways was planned from day 1, proof? watch the piloit and the backgammon scene, then read up about egyptians, backgammon and the afterlife.

  • @HitsMan1307

thanks for the explanation man but I have some questions,

1.What happened Jack's father body ? We never saw what happened that body.

2.Why Walt was so damn importing ?

3.What was the Anubis statue ?

4.When everyone dies, people should go limbo at their middle age ?(it's not about lost but I wonder still)

5.Daniel Faraday's big love(charlotte ı guess) found dharma's mark at desert, what was that?

6.and last question. What was Dharma doing with time machine ?and real purpose ?

  • @rexcor14

    3. Jacob lived in a chamber in the base of the statue

    5. Charlotte grew up on the island but left when she was still very young, she has spent much of her life trying to find the island & trying to get back to it. When she found the polar bear in the dessert & it's collar she recognized the dharma logo from when she was a child

  • @FlyersinHD thanks for the answers :) I know Jacob lived there but my question is who built that statue ? Egpyts ?

  • @rexcor14

    2. the best explanation for why Walt is so important is as Damon Lindelof said: because he is. there is no real reason, he just was

    4. they show up in purgatory or "limbo" as the age they crashed on the island because that is where they spent the most important part of their life

    6. they wanted to time travel because they thought they could, if you found a plausible way to time travel and you had as many resources, wouldn't you try too?

  • Great video.

  • Comment removed

  • no offense where is michael in the afterlife

  • @BlackMask165 micheal is stuck on the island as part of the whispers. it's his punishment for killing ana-lucia & libby

  • i love Ben and the guy who plays him. I'm soooo glad that Michael Emerson got picked up by cbs for person of interest! He's too good of an actor to lose!

  • Guys thank you all for watching the video, it means a lot to see my effort not go to waste. I just want to remind some people that once again, this is my own opinion. If you believe something else, that is brilliant but don't accuse me of being wrong or stupid as Lost is confusing as hell! Haha. Once again, thanks guys.

  • @HitsMan1307 you mister.. made me cry again.. :(

  • @HitsMan1307

I have a habit of attacking. You made one very valid point here, and I am a gamer. The theories of this show are without measure. Just in sorcery alone, (leaving out the time space quantum mechanics entirely) there are still multiple theories to this thing. I just watched the entire series in one week. 1st time i ever saw it. I loved it, but as to opinions and theories, you are right. I just wish I knew more info, which I know they left out on purpose.

  • there's an episode where hugo thought it was all in his imagination!! .... the island the people

  • So wait, JACK NEVER GOT RESCUED!??!?

    AND WHY DID HE DIE???

AND WHAT ABOUT BOONE SHANNON AND CHARLIE THEY ALL DIED AND YOU SAID THAT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED ON THE ISLAND DID HAPPEN

    AND WHEN DID JOHN DIE?!!??!!?

    I DON'T GET IT

WAS THE LAST SCENE JUST A DREAM?!?!?!?

AND I AM STILL WONDERING HOW AND WHY JACK DIDN'T GET RESCUED AND DIED.

THEY DIED HOW COME THEY ARE IN THE LAST SCENE

    THIS MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE

    I AM SO SAD :( :( :( :(

  • @FrenzyMilk1980 that scene in the church it purgatory so there all dead but stuck in limbo and know they realised they are all dead they can "move on" like heaven or whatever.

and in that limbo stage they all created their own vision so jake imaged he had a son because he wanted to be a good father and james became a cop because he wanted to become a good guy. etc.

  • @JadesCreed1 But what about michael and walt, are they still stuck cause i can't see them in the afterlife and btw do you now how jack died like in the very last scene he was covered in blood and died the same place that he woke up and the news lady (in earlier episodes) said that all 300 something passengers were dead but apparently jack was still alive until that very last scene so how did he get covered in blood and die and where is michael and walt???

  • I know one thing the present protector of the Island is Walt :) i just saw that episode :)

  • What music you did use in the video ? 06:10 - 06:14

  • @MyClip456 Same song. Read info on video. Cheers

  • @HitsMan1307 Thanks

  • right, so if he died where he landed on the island, surely none of it happened. As he never got up from the crash

  • @SIMENEWT no he died in the last episode when he was laying down bloody

  • @SIMENEWT

When he came out of "the heart of the island" he was at the far end of the bamboo field he woke up in, as he was walking through it he came to the spot where he woke up, being that he was weak and had already lost a lot of blood, he collapsed, the fact that it was the same spot he woke up in is just a coincidence

  • Best serie ever made! i loved it from the start to the end! :(

  • omg i feel so sad now, it kind of makes sense, but did Jack die first or ?

  • @Susanasanification Everyone dies. Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hugo, Locke. Everyone. But Jack didn't necessarily die first. Locke, Boone, Shannon, Juliet, etc. all died before Jack. I hope that answers your question! :)

  • @MrMonsterGleek

sorta, lost is super confusing to me, i plan on one day siting down and watching the whole series, i got so lost near the last few

  • @Susanasanification me too. i had to watch it with my brothers & they literally had to explain to me what happened after each episode! But if you have any questions, feel free to inbox me. :)

  • @borat1133: Tell him that if you just watch the end, he will know what the answers are, but he won't know what the questions are, or the significance of those questions.

  • this show is epic.

I tried to make my dad watch this show but he didn't want to because he says its lame and I told him the show has lots of mysteries and epic moments and its sometimes confusing but they explain everything in the end and then he was like well then why don't you just watch the last episode and save yourself time? and I was like mmmm.....and I didn't know what to tell him please help me out here! tell me what I can tell my dad to make him watch it

  • @borat1133 like locke would say it's not about the finish line sometimes it's all about the journey....

  • IF i would been in that iland o would make a boat take lots of food and get the hell outta there

  • @P3rttiz You obiviously haven't watched the series,if you would you'd had know that it ain't that simple to get off the island.

  • so what happened? everyone died ? i didn't finish watching the last seasons

  • @Monvayne we all die..so yes

  • so..Jack died but he lived..like in another dimension? That sums it up?

  • 6:25 Jack always had that tattoo right? I forgot.

  • @scoetie2 He needed to let go of Nadia, after she was murdered, the island made him whole after meeting Shannon, he loved more I guess.

  • i only started watching lost this month ... to get the full story i have ordered the entire series due any day now - i am always the last to like an awesome show ... better late than never huh? :):)

  • guys , is something here what make me little confused... WHERE is the moment when the real time is end and the flash sideways are coming ??? 1.when they are escaping from the island and decided to go back is real life or in that moment are already dead??...2. Time traveling is just afterlife or really happened ?? ...3.Jack died in real time and the rest of survivors left the island somehow or they died also there but long time after Jack?...English is not my native language and I missed idea

  • @armastoderas4ever the rest of the survivors died a long time after jack, the flash sideways is an afterlife purgatory that the survivors created to gain closure with each other and move on, so the flash sideways does not take place until they are all dead, we see when jack dies but dont see when it happens for those who died after him, the time travelling really happened

  • well i guess he did see Desmond in another life after all

  • wheres ecko?

  • I havent watched lost properly but for the last 30 minutes I've been watching catch ups-looks epic

  • guess Desmond finally saw Jack in another life, brothers.

  • @jmart500

    That is true.....Good One.

  • Explain The Black Smoke = Monster?

  • Well put! Thanks for the vid. I clearly understood the ending but there are many who didn't get it and dislike it due to their own ignorance. This helps them make sense of it all. By far the BEST SHOW EVER!! NO other show has captured that "humanity" that this one is so candid with. LOST is about the people NOT the island ;)

  • where is charlie and claire

  • @jakemy2 nvm

  • Finally, someone else agrees with me :D

  • @WhiteBoard08 Good to hear!

  • Hurley died :O HOW??!!

  • Damn...now i'm sad

  • The person who made this clip is seriously retarded.

  • @ZeHivez Thanks for giving this retard one more view :)

  • Amazing ending, it always gets me emotional. I think the real reason people say it sucked was because they don't get it. Basically the island is a gateway to the great beyond, where people are given a chance to redeem them self for their past sins. The "sideways" world is where people's souls are judged, the ones who have learned from their sins and are ready to move on are and allowed to cross over into the light. If you think about it this explains a lot of things about Lost, like the ghosts.

  • @CosmicUndeadElf the reason i wasn't happy with the ending is that the producers stated, when asked several times as to how it would end, it would not be a purgatory reference, yet it was. Simple way to wrap up a lot of loose ends.

  • @MrMalenfant They said that the island wasn't purgatory, as in everyone who lived there was dead. Also the flash sideways thing isn't purgatory, people keep calling it that but that isn't really what it is. It's like another plane of existence where people's souls go after death to be judged, it isn't a physical place though, it's an illusion created by the memories of the dead. So when the writers denied the idea of purgatory they weren't lying.

  • @CosmicUndeadElf they say that when u die you meet ur loved ones before u move on to the afterlife thats what the flash sideways was

  • @MrMalenfant Actually the writers NEVER said such thing, during season 1 they were asked if the island was purgatory, they said no, end of, THE ISLAND WAS NOT PURGATORY>>FACT.

  • @cecilbh Because Shannon is the one who completed Sayid and Nadia was only a gateway to the island. If you remember why Sayid was on the plane was because the government wanted Sayid to stop his friend who was a terrorist and if he accepted he would see Nadia. It's also the same reason why Penny is there too; because the time spent together was the most meaningful in their lives. At least this is my explanation of why certain people are there.

  • why is penny there?

  • @codestar30 ikr

  • Why is Desmond there though?

  • I watched Lost all the way through, after it was finished. I understood pretty much very thing except some of the scenes in the finale. Thank you for explaining it. It was sooo so sad but necessary.

  • @cecilbh Sayid never made it off the island and found true love with Shannon. It makes sense that they'd be together at the end. Plus Shannon is soooooo sexy

  • then why does Jack has to accept is dead while other died way after him

  • @justinjonkmanbcn Time is not an issue in the afterlife, it dosent matter when you die, you just appear with your loved ones.

  • Truly a powerful television series and one that will go down in history for its story telling and overall message.

  • As much as I enjoyed lost I think my brain may have just trickled out of my ear.

  • Vincent is there so Jack doesn't "die alone" :)

  • In the epilogue video Hurley recruited Walt to be the next guardian of the Island.

  • I don't know if it was just me, but during this video I shed a tear...

  • I will always love Lost and greatly Miss it. Amazing Show with incredible Actors

  • I'm still confused by this show, i stopped watching after the black smoke ... might get back into it

  • 6:48 Richard was on the plane too.

  • @Ocelot1962 thank you for explaining! :)

  • I thought ben didnt come in because he was going to hell instead of heaven

  • @videorecuts Ben didn't go because he "had a few things I need to work out." He wasn't ready probably because Alex and Danielle weren't ready, and he'll move on with them later on. Also, he had to come to terms with Charles Whitmore. You failed to notice that Ben became a very repentant man, a man full of sorrow for all of the hurt he had caused others. It could be that his choosing to stay behind was his way of apologizing to the rest of the group for the anguish he had caused them.

  • Why would Sayid be with Shannon in the afterlife and not with Nadia?

  • @cecilbh If you rewatch season 6 you will come upon the answer.

  • @cecilbh Because with Nadia, he would always be the "Torturor" the "Iraqui" soldier, so much baggage, yet with Shannon he was a gentle caring man, the man he always wanted to be.

  • @cecilbh Because the Island brought them together.

  • @cecilbh because shannaon was on the island and nadia wasnt and this alternate universe was used to move on with the most important people you spent your life with which was all of them on the island and not nadia

  • @cecilbh because like he said all throughout the show, he didn't deserve her. and he didn't belong with her.

  • @cecilbh I guess that's because the writers could not find a way to fix it up and bring all cast together OR its because Shannon was the woman Sayid could find himself, love, and regret for the bad things he's done.

  • @cecilbh bcoz the time he spent with shannon on the island was more important to him in the end than the time he spent with nadia, sayid excepted his fate on the island and hes new life with shannon

  • @cecilbh i think it's because he met shannon on the island but he met nadia outside in reality. Most of the relationships were formed from the island in their dream world. just a thought

  • @cecilbh because sayid was with shannon on the island and the aftelife purgatory is only for the people who were connected to the island in some way

  • @cecilbh he did not need Nadia, he loved Shannon

  • Where's Walt and his father?

  • @BeTheBarnze walt i think became the new jacob after hurley and Michael is stuck on the island in spirit form but i think walt helps him and maybe he lets go another time

  • @BeTheBarnze Walt was recruited by Hurley and Ben in the epilogue.. Michael's soul is on the island with the rest of the other people that died there.

  • @BeTheBarnze black people heaven?

  • What brilliant observations, certainly things that I didn't notice like his fathers shoe in the true. A real eye-opener, thanks for this!

  • @AndySmithy You're welcome, thank you for the kind comment.

  • But those who aren't in the final scene were not brought to the island because of their loneliness, they came by their own. As Jack's father says, nobody dies alone. Something still mysterious is why Sawyer and Kate, who did survive, were there too. But I guess that's the beauty of the show. It makes you think about how important it is to not have a lonely life since everyone needs somebody to live and die. Of course, Lost remains a Show, so don't look on it for answers on life and death.

    .

  • Jacob explains it perfectly in the end. He said he brought them all to the island because they were all alone like him. The purpose of it all, according to the show, is that the important thing is the afterlife, not the life. The island is EXACTLY what Jacob says it was; it stops the evil from leaving and spreading. John & Kate killed him, but someone else wouldtake his place and it will keep going on. Kate, Sawyer & Miles did survive, Hugo was the new Jacob and Ben helped him.....

  • Loved Lost, still really miss it :(

  • I guess it's better to see them go, then to see them leave the island where they will supposedly *live their lives*.

  • wow that was a very good Explaining !!! thank you so much now i understand the story !!! =)
