Everytime I attempt the steps, when I get to the step where it says ... "Use Cellular Connection" it waits to activate and then says "SIM not valid" and says... "Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be use to activate iPhone.

yes i got data on my simple mobile sim card...what do i do once i get the tmobile signal? as soon as i get it it goes to the apple logo and makes me start all over again, sometimes it automatically connects me to wifi but once i turn it off i get tmobile right away ....

I have an iphone 4s that is registered with at&t, but I don't have a simcard for at&t. I have a tmoble simcard that will fit inside. My question is, do I need the at&t simcard? Can I use another person's simcard for the first part, or will that not work? If it does work, can I still do more than just make calls, say, surf the internet, connect to facebook and whatnot?
