I'm willing to bet that this band has all of there shit hooked up to autotune and they let the computer make the music for them, that's why they suck. I think Honda should've made that sport exhaust a cat-back instead of axle-back, but aside from all that, The HFP kit is cool. I just think it is a little overpriced
I'm pretty sure that the exhaust on the SI is slightly better then the DX. You should call your local honda dealer they would answer your question by yes or no.
i dont see much of a difference of why it would be impossible i have a 96 civic ek4 and ive seen people drop 99 integra exhaust's on them so this basically same shit so you should be good
Since it's obvious there's a lot of people here who like hondas, can someone explain to me why someone would pick a civic for tuning? Why not a vehicle that has a lot more potential, like a Mustang?
reason is its easy to throw a couple grand at a mustang and have a nasty fast car. Mustangs are supposed to be fast, Hondas aren't. Its like saying why would anyone want to sink money into a harley to make it fast? When you could go buy a suzuki hayabusa for cheaper and smoke it. reason is If I got outrun by a harley on my busa, it would blow my mind. If a guy in a mustang V8 got outrun by a 4 door honda civic, it should blow his mind. Its about making something fast that s not supposed to be
O, no doubt. Especially when they are obnoxiously loud. My si is stock muffler but has tons of performance upgrades. Its actually my wifes car that I turned into an awesome sleeper. But some cars are not really able to go fast, no matter what. So DONT put a loud pipe on a KIA or a Hyundai. I could outrun them on rollerskates
Whats the markup for that crap. Theres a Nissan dealer in my area that sells cars with mods and they charge crazy prices, Tint=350 Intake on a Z $500 you get the idea
you could go buy a magna flow cat back for 549.00 and pay 100.00 bucks for someone to install it and get the same performance gain, and in my opnion have a better sounding car
agreed, i think the si looks better without it. no matter what, it still looks like a kit was slapped on the car and for that kind of money you could actually make the car go faster and handle better with some performance mods.
you can get the HFP exhaust at a local honda store where they sell SI's
and having HFP accessories installed on a civic SI sedan/coupe may be a little pricy.the HFP rims and the labor for my SI sedan was about $3,800 and i know the under spoilers for the SI is about $1000
this guy sounds like saabkyle

Generally, everything that you can do to a civic isn't expensive. Compared to a 350Z or a Mustang, you can do alot more to a civic with a low budget.

Also some people just like more Honda then Mustangs - no disrespect in there!

Okay, and the kind of hondas that are actually quick I have respect for, but the slow moving fart cans are kind of annoying.

How much was the installation?
The CIVIC SI looks bad ass with the body kit...but sadly 4grand is expensive for little performance boost.
