  • Every time I come to this song, there are a bunch of angry atheists. What the fuck is up with that? If you don't like it, then leave. No one is forcing you to stay here lol

  • I dont understand how people can treat other people so wrong and get away with it.... I am sitting here watching the actual movie right now and i want 2 cry so bad but i cant even cry cuz i feel the way they feel some time...............

  • very said shit

  • thumbs up if you got here by typing djd!

  • I don't believe in God, enymore. Where is HE now? God is dead to me.

  • @bahbemcapaz weird coment xD

  • @bahbemcapaz Do not forget there is a satan too. He hates you and he is your real enemy.

  • @bahbemcapaz We only truly die when we give up hope- I know someone has said that already, i dont know who... I'm not a big spiritual person, I rarely go to church, but I do know one thing, that we must believe in something- and in times of need, magical things always happen, trust me, I know...

  • thumbs up if you cry at the end of the movie :)

  • The children singing makes me so emotional, this is an amazing movie and I think everyone should see it.

  • just saying this in case any1 knows what2do. this song got me thru life.id listen to it when i didnt feel like studying and i'd go right to work, remembering who i was working for, ppl like this. any time my father abused me i would remember i was living my life souly for these ppl i would one day help. life has stolen my hope. i want to help ppl still but idk what to do. i thought if i worked hard it would all work out. but it hasnt. im nowhere close to where i need to be. idk what to do!

  • @Rachulie There are always ways to help other people. Sometimes one way doesn't work out, but life is full of people who want help, so don't worry about what to do. We don't always know where we need to be - leave that up to God. He knows what's best.

  • powerful movie...

we shud put an end to all kinds of WAR

  • my social studies teach should my class this song!! what a beast

  • i'm sorry the US cant solve everyone's problems. we got out of somalia months before, we werent gonna go back, people are so dumb

  • saddest part in this movie is when the nuns or whoever are seperated from the tutsi....... and wuts up with the guy on the bus with the camera

  • Just wached the movie! WOW!

....... " If America is the United States of America then why can't Africa be the United States of Africa? "

  • Christine Shelly "We have every reason to believe acts of genocide have occurred."

Reporter "How many acts of genocide does it take to make genocide?"

Christine Shelly "Alan that just not a questioned I'm in the position to answer."

If they had just said genocide they would have been forced to go into Rwanda, only reason they wouldn't do anything is because of the outcome of Somalia 3 months before this event happened. People have to step in as humans and do their job.

  • cry listening to this song :'(

  • After watching this movie, I now want to visit Rwanda. Here is what I believe; if u think that watching the Tutsis get murdered is cool...then u r no better than the Hutu Rebel scum. They are people, and they have every right to be here. If all countries helped the ones in struggle...then we can make sure that nothing like the Rwandan incident ever happens again.

  • @renesmeecullen101 Actually if you do more research then you will know that the Tutsis had been attacking the Hutus since the 70's. It didn't happen until the 90's when the Hutus started retaliating. If you ask me, I believe that when the president for the Hutus was going to sign the treaty that the Hutus killed him and blamed it on the Tutsis. Although this doesn't take away from the fact that people shouldn't be killing other people

  • every time i see this movie i cry. its a great movie though but it makes u just think how lucky u are to be living...some of those people didnt even have a chance.....

  • The song is so sad and beautiful...

  • I only like it when the kids sing :)

  • One of my top favorite movies, it really makes me think.

  • This video and the Blood Diamond soundtrack shows how BEAUTIFUL the african languages with are.

  • @myzjjbaybeeanno completely agree my friend.....we were watching the movie in class and i just found myself just humming to it afterward

The human spirit can never be completely subdued.

  • my teacher brought in the movie since we are on the section on Rwanda and i think it was a really good movie i saw a couple people in my class crying though but i dont blame theme this is a very sad movie

  • Film straordinario.....musiche eccezionali! *-*

  • 0:00-0:40 is so pretty!

  • This movie is a moving, beautifully made lie which fails to say a word about who armed the English speaking Ugandan Tutsi army that invaded the north led by Paul Kagame.

  • جعلكم شلال وخنز الفيديو خرا عليكم ياليهووووووووووود الحين ستانسو يكلاب المسعا تفووووووووو عليكم

  • wonderful movie, so sad ;(

  • wonderful movie i'm cired lot of tears watching it :(

  • sad movie

  • in 1994 rwanda was a sad movie and the west were cracking out the popcorn

  • it so sad wat humans can do to other humans just because they are different and are labelled different like a different tribe, skin colour etc

  • Well it is still happening ... Here in sweden a gang of immigrants attacked Swedish old ladies only. And here in sweden Nationalsocialists attacks homosexualls and immigrants.

We need to take a clear stance from this and educate people.

  • i know it is because i have been attacked for reasons simliar myself im just saying its so sad x

  • tx God for showin' me the true pic of the reality, i don't know how to explain how it was bein' their in my 10, i survived but i can't get away of the past.

  • The children singing remides me of when i helped the afganastan children as volentiear work they were singing "Help us God"!

  • je pleure a chaque fois qd je vois le film

  • AWESOME MOVIE AND GOOD SONG !!

  • What is the name of the original music with the children's chorus?

  • milion voices - hotel rwanda

  • Million Voices - Wyclef Jean

  • I love the movie... and thanks, I've been searchin all over for this song's title...^^

  • Genocide, shows how stupid it is like the Nazi and the Jews......very sad and how all those innocent lives where taken...

  • I love the begining to this video, what that man said made sense, come on WTF? there could be so much more being done to help them

  • omg this is sooo nice

  • what's so nice? like when people are killed? nice.. jea.. :/

  • the music is nice

not all the killing and stuff

  • amazing video my friend, fucking amazing..

  • I think that genocide is horrid and a sad thing I pray for those people who must live through it and pay witness to it. I understand those who feel more needs to be done by other countries I agree but I also think more action needs to be taken for those countries to help themselves and others will follow.

  • WOOW, how selfish of the world to let such things to happen, children bein tourtured and parents infront of there own children,

im Tamil Born on an Island south of india now called Sri Lanka, My parents and grandparents have been through Genocide for there whole life reason why they brought me and my brother over seas to canada, Now i can only watch helplessly as my Tamil Brothers and Sisters over seas are being tortured, raped, and killed.

  • Canada US, UK would never let Genocide happen in there own countries but why would they let it happen in Countries such as Africa Sri Lanka ... R,i,P INNOCENT VICTIMS OF GENOCIDE AT THE HANDS OF SELFISH PEOPLE (F)

  • B/C they dont have gold, diamond, oil, or anything at that place...so they didnt care...sigh...so much for human right fighters..

  • @alister1234567

Because they know that going in and helping temporarily wouldn't help because as soon as they leave, there will be a new tyrant and the bloodshed will continue again. Seen in this aspect, colonies weren't such a bad Idea. BTW Genocides in Europe were the biggest in the world. Hitler ring a bell?

  • Ni ryari izuba, Rizagaruka, Hejuru yacu?!

    Ni nd'uzaricyeza ricyeza?!

  • its happening again but now in different country iraq

good bless the helpless people and the poor

  • In my home country it was WAY worse..this brings my parents sad memories of friends and family they had lost by savage war lords='(

  • i love this song <3

  • 4 real so many black people are die, suffering , kill other black people ( bloods crips ) but 4 real we have to Unite !

we dont need to spred hate but share the love like brothers, whan some of us black's get ritch they feel better and wont help us out most of they ritch one. i think 4 real we have to make a site were all the black people can Unite we can send money to other poor fam's so that whan we go to black place, u see people laugh food en love ! one (L) god bless yah

  • i feel u

  • Same this is happend in Sri Lanka - Who has come to help for them??????

  • The thing in Sri Lanka is perhaps partly caused of its geographical location. Still it is Europe with Northern America that "influent" what is done and not done when crimes against humans happens,... for better and worse...

Great film, like Don Cheadle´s accent

  • Great music , great movie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • :( horel rwanda best movie ever.....

  • This song makes me emotional!! lol

  • Ugh I hate the Wyclef song I just wanted to hear the kids singing like what they played at the end of the film. Good video though

  • Africa cant be united because hypocrite key players in politics and military knows its easier to trick and exploi people in a divided country.

  • :( HOW? hOW COME

  • the kids chorus gives me goosebumps

  • but its the best part too =] I love it

  • yeah it truly is beautiful..

  • rwanda rwanda!""""£?"@£"@£"@¬@!"£@"

  • We all post our comments about this video and this song even though it speaks for itself and makes a greater comment than any of us can post. This being said I love it

  • One of the best films n also one of the best song ever!

  • i saw this at school mad me sad=[

this is ture story isnt it?

  • YEP. true sad story!!

  • Comment removed

  • Hutu, Tutsi, african, american, european....We all love and know we should take care of one and other ..

    END ALL WARS !!!

  • I believe this is one of the best films that I have ever seen. And therefore, I believe it is one of the most important films that was ever broadcasted. I have been to Kenya but it seems like Africa is left out from the world just like this song tells and this makes me feel so sad...

  • this is one of my favorite films i love hotel ruanda

  • an amazing story, shows what one person can do if they care

  • everytime i think of the problem wich africa has....im so sad! because i always come to the point that the people there cant chanche anything without the help from the "1 world countries"!! WE have to bring education, insurance, fluent water and peace to our ALL homeland!!!!! im willing to do something:)

  • with enough people. we can :)

  • I think we definetly should have helped them, this could've been prevented, i mean, those Hutu's literally killed hundreds of thousands of tutsi's within 50 days, by 100 days, there were very few left...the Hutu's blamed all of the tutsi's for the death of the president just because of a pack of some tutsi's that were ignorant. Hatred can go too far.

  • I don't think africa could ever be united, It's just like my country! Divided by religion

  • IRA!!!!!!! :O

  • The IRA would never do what they did there, Nearly 1 million killed in 100 days, The ira targeted military positions and loyalist paramilitaries, Those people were innocent and died for nothing

  • Yes thats why the IRA put bombs in central London in garbage bombs... maybe they didnt fully intend to kill innocent people but tons were killed and they knew it.

  • I know that man but most the ira bombs were car bombs, They caused devastation but this was a war britain had to expect after 800 years of oppression

  • yes but still they targeted civilians.

  • They targeted military positions and huge economic business, They always sent warnings too, Al queda would never do that

  • Yes but at the end of the day terrorism is terrorism, and civilians were killed. Wheather this is justified or not is for one to decide.

  • In my home country it was WAY worse then hotel Rwanda and we had no warning..no reason..we never opressed them or anything..me and my mom were captured when i was an infant and my mom got away coz she lied and they believed her..or i would not be alive today..but my mom witnessed friends being told to go to their knees and then they got shot in the head..being raped, killed, starving was an everyday worry..murders are murders no matter where they come from..at the end they are all the same

  • The exact same things happened in northern ireland up until 98 ! I saw parts of bodies scattered across the street in armagh when i was 9, My uncle was murdered by the british army in belfast in 76, Yes lady i know the pain and sorrow you talk about, But if you can find a country that 800000 people were murdered in 100 days other than the holocaust i would like you to tell me

  • woow, you mom and you must be strong people cuz if you put a western person from us, canada britain and so forth in war torn countries such africa they wouldnt last, we feel so helpless stayin over seas watching these horrifying clips of genocide happening before our eyes. I hope you are you family will live your life in peave of not worrying and lookin over you backs, R.I,P ALL THOSE INNOCENT LIFES TAKEN AWAY BY GENOCIDE!! (F)

  • thank u for the support=)

  • sorry not garbage bombs i meant to say they put bombs in garbage bins..

  • glad we sat by and did nothing.

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i saw this in seventh grade, and in an awkward class for this: english/religion. i loved and hated watching this movie. great and powerful movie, but about such a horrific event in RECENT history. you would expect this kind of thing in much older times, not just a decade ago.

  • I just watched this movie and in the last couple weeks I have read a few books about the conflict in Africa over the past 20 years or so. I am left feeling helpless and angry. The human race has so much potential and yet this is ongoing. Everyday for all of history this has happend. I feel like using. I don't like feeling.

  • kent iemand hier ene oncke mormel hij heet namelijk ramon onck en hij is een echte gokker 150 aan niek he

  • I don't think that's the attitude most people still have toward blacks. Maybe poor people, but not blacks.

  • i sort of agree, but it can be seen as a race issue. but i agree 100% with you that super powers dont rlly give a sh1t about lower class countries. bunch of variables makes this sad crap

  • that scene was so telling when the belgians came only to get just the whites...and yes i said it because thats what happened they weren't gonna save any blacks and thats the attitude most people still have towards blacks no wonder were so f**Ked up. we're all human beings and we should help people regardless of what they look like. some whites have this attitude, black on black violence, "thats there problem." no its everyone's problem!!

  • Amen!

  • man...

    dieser Film ist so traurig,:(

ich finde ihn sehr gut gemacht...

schaue ihn mir immer wieder an...

    lg aus Österreich(Austria)

  • this is a sad song. no one would call this genocide a 'genocide' because than we'd have to help, and that's just pathetic

I love this song and the movie

  • just a beutiful song, its brings tears to my eyes everytime i listen to it

  • this is a really peaseful song and the film is brilliant it was one of the best films i have ever seen !!!!!!!

  • let history teach.....

  • 15 years after the genocide, please don't forget them

  • 悲しいね 子ども達の明るい声がもっと悲しくさせる気がする。

    この歌を聞いて「いい歌だね」なんて言えるのは日本人だけなんじゃ・・・

  • Absoultly Love the song,

So sad the issues that places face.

  • wat song is that

  • Million voices.

  • I am not going to cry that's all I can say to this video. And it is not only African nations that should unite but African people all over the world despite whether you are Caribbean, Canadian, American, British whatever we all came from Africa and for this reason we should stand together as a nation and try and better ourselves.

  • :D Everyone in the world should unite, whether we are Brown, Pink, Yellow or whatever.

  • the pain is eminent in their voices, and i seriously can't sing along

  • Saw the SECOND one last night called Shooting Dogs.

Prefered the second one. Almost made me cry.

  • I love the song...It is like a cry...like a prayer. And the film is great!

  • yea, you're right it is like a prayer, they're praying for hope, for the sun to come back.

  • This was by far one of the most evocative movies I've ever seen. I've watched it atleast 5 times and it never gets old. And what a perfect song,, does anyone know what its called?

  • it is called million voices and is performed by wyclef jean

  • great movie. very informational and inspiring in a way. NOW, help darfur! same thing people. i've already helped sell save darfur braclets in my school and we even got solar stoves and food for darfur. TAKE ACTION! open your eyes! it shouldnt take a movie for that to happen.

  • saw this 2 years ago . but stiillll my favorite MOVIE

  • whats the song caled at he start with the kids singing?

  • "Children Found" ... but it's also included in "Million Voices" by Wyclef Jean

  • love this song... its true... if america is the united states of america why cant africa be a united africa.... and england is the united kindom why cant africa be the united states of africa...

    GREAT song!!!! =]

  • ahem i believe scotland wales and n ireland included in the united bit too.

Great song, should unite espec ghana.

  • It's so beautiful... Thank you for posting this! I love the innocent children's voice!

  • I just finished watching this movie and researching about what happened.

Paul is a great man and his self-sacrifice will never be forgotten.

  • i love this song and the video

i am so proud of the person who made this video you can see the real facts of life

life is nothing we all gonna die once and no one will be on earth but for now we need to respect our nearbours and show peace i am proud i got everything i want to live in the dream but some childeren don't they use druggs no parents no life i thank god for my life may god Protect them

  • i like this song up to 40 seconds of it(: cuz i just love the little kids singing itttt.(:

  • True that,

But the whole song is great,

    Makes one think 'Rwandaaa'

  • Film critic Richard Roeper said that this was one of the most inspirational films that he had ever seen.

    Great movie:)

  • does anyone know is the footage that is shown in the movie is real? It doesn't say anywhere where it came from.

  • its not real but does a very good job of depicting exactly how it happened

  • wat isn't real? the music video or the story of the movie? the story of the movie is real man. paul rusesabagina was real and he did try to save the lives of all of those people.

  • It's from the film "Hotel Rwanda"

  • rwanda is destroyed. but noway is it the worst. Zimbabwe is by far the worst. it would be better if blacks and whites ownd africa

  • this movie changed me.

  • True that

Before i'd barely heard of the Genocides there. After i did my own research and found out lots.

Paul Rusesabagina even got the presidential medal for freedom in 2005. Which is still an understatement for what he did and how he has preserved the sanctity of life no matter what the person may be.

  • good song. till the e guitar comes out. not exactly a native african instrument LOL

  • song called milion voices, utfg

  • does anybody know the name of the african song in this video???

  • The song is entitled

    "Million Voices"

  • using this song for a school project, we have to make a music video on why to save the enviorment
