reminds me of something i can t remember ;) excellent man ..... u get me to the point i am going to pay u for some (or more ;) skype lessons !! be prepared...
you ever got to that point during your time as a guitar player when you realize how much material you have learned and at the same time realized how much of it you completely fuckin forgot about?--this material is one of those for me --lol
Wow, this is dead cool and sounds complicated at first but you clearly explained it and made it real easy and this is now something I can play real well. You've no idea how much your videos are helping me in my guitar journey. Thanks so much, Man, for taking the time to share your experience with us all :-)
I dont know if this has been answered before, But Can you explain your tuning that you use? From the 6th to the 1st string? I have played banjo for 2 years and jsut bought a dobro and trying to learn blues, but just can't grasp it yet.
Thanks, that was great. However, I play a simplified version: I do the usual fully barred Am chord (from low to high: 577555). Since all of the riff notes are close, I keep everything barred at the 5th fret and do the riff with the ring and the pinky finger, forming the chord in the process.
Salutations from Brazil, I`m watching all of your videos. Great playing style.
like this one a lot, thanks for the great lesson. Reminds me a lot of when dave matthews and tim reynolds play acoustic together, matthews would do a progression like this and reynolds will come over the top with lead riffs, definitely a good one to jam on.
best thing about this guy is hes not making it complicated... iv been playing for years and i still have trouble when people refer to the strings by there letter designation... calling them 1st, 2nd ect.ect. is much better. good riff man and good vid keep it up.
what happens when you fall in love with the guitar only to realize that your fingers are too short to do things like fretting with your thumb and such..?... Is that what you might call a tragic love story?... Goddamn these short fingers of mine... I'll be glad when the future gets here and we can get finger implants
this is EXCELLENT!! Thank you!! I'm retarded for "minor blues" I'm still learning but this is a GREAT lesson and the tabs on the video make it REALLY easy! Thank you !!!
What I do is forget about it at first. I get the rhythm and chords down...then after that I can adjust the strum or mute the string. It isn't a technical answer but once you get the 'feel' of the rhythm then slight adjustments in strumming, pressure on the srings, etc. comes natural.
sounds great master.i will learn that
