There is a parallel being drawn between the nature of the human soul/being and God's being insomuch as God created us like Himself. He is personal; we are personal. He is volitional (has a will); we are volitional beings. The book of Romans says that God has made us aware of His "law" or moral code. And so, we have an innate sense of right and wrong. I'm not sure what "Christians" you are talking about, but Christians are defined by their acceptance of the revealed word of God. This person (or these people may call himself a Christian, but I seriously doubt that he meets the criteria necessary to be called a Christian. if God exists then He is not obligated to condescend and reveal Himself in the way that we would most desire. I would have to agree on that point and say that the Creator of the universe is not in any way obligated to jump through the hoops that arrogant men would command Him to observe. That is not to say that God hasn't provided us with an understanding of Him. But I won't drag on about something you wll simply reject out of hand. What would see as being necessary "proof" of God?

Actually, religion is in my opinion nothing more than a philosophy, correct? Well, Worshiping God as the say 'creator' of that philosophy sucks the natural human experience away. Whereas the Ideology Satan represents is greed and the rule than every human follows, watch out for number one. Why seek a life of pursuing perfection and repentance for your mistakes in life. The idea of a god is so speculative its unreal...technically you are your own god...you make choices of your own whether they are percieved right or wrong is a different thing.
