Nobody has the right to say this sounds too polished, Varg is one of the originators of the cold/minimalistic sound. Euronymous promoted the Burzum album as how B.M should be and Fenriz say's the sound was perfect. I'm not into hero worship but this is one of the many contributions from Varg for the genre.

The production is GREAT, and dispells that tired old lie that shitty production is some kind of pre-requisite, or necessary component to black metal. The best I think I've heard- the old school material, but beautifully produced.

En cuanto a calidad la obra ha ganado considerablemente, en cuanto a sonido.

Respecto a Varg, su voz hace que esta recopilación no sea sublime, se echan de menos sus viejos aullidos, que daban a Burzum una personalidad inimitable.

@Mr666john666 Te respondo en cuanto la voz,te doy la razón aunque debo añadir (es opinión personal) aunque no meta esos aullidos que le daban cierta personalidad,la voz actual sigue metiéndote en una atmósfera bastante oscura,no las comparo porque son totalmente diferentes,pero sí que me gustan las dos.

@Mr666john666 Creo que el tipo de produccion que usaron para este album hace sonar a las canciones mas "metal" que antes. Suenan muy bien... pero prefiero la atmosfera que tenian las originales. La voz no esta mal, de hecho es del mismo tipo de voz que uso para Belus y Fallen, y la verdad me gustaron muchos esos albumes. Creo que Varg deberia sacar otro album como esos.
