hey omer the matchmaking in hon is like in lol now. on the first few games you play you get/lose a lot of elo/rating and then later after you played like 20 games you get 10-15 and lose 10-15 :)

@MyPercivalz I would say stick to INT or STR chars (most ranged types are AGI) to start with in HoN. The game is infinitely harder than LoL... Many more things can go wrong. You also prolly need some thick skin, as everyone seems to have something jammed up their arse in that game.

Lastly, the hero with the smallest learning curve for me was Empath. You really don't have to worry about gear and you should really have a babysitter at all times. Get used to buying wards though.

I mean of course you're going to rape somebody who's never played the game before, but since they say "too easy" and quit they don't ever see what it's like when you're not raping kids who just started. I play all 3 games, HoN,Dota, and LoL. Imo lol is just ez mode. You get so much mana regen and the skills take little to no mana to cast and can easily take out 1/2 of someone's hp.

@iiBeDaBest Well for one League of Legends has a much different artstyle and uses much brighter colors. Whether or not that is a good thing is really up to the someone's opinion. League of Legends is different when it comes to mechanics. While both games have roots from DotA, HoN has tried to model themselves after it and LoL takes DotA and take it in a different direction.

I'll tell you why, because they have different gamestyles. LoL isn't just HoN with an easy button, it's different. The item shop is tons better. The abilities are less drastic. The longest stun in LoL is about 2.5 seconds, while it's much longer in HoN. I think you're mis-informed, and haven't played much LoL. The bad players in LoL are worse than HoN.
