I still enjoy the remix more, I'm a fan of hard hitting bass and less of the guitar. The vocals are great though.

I read some musicology journal that associates the structure of drum&bass to travel; particularly train journey because of their speed and their instrumentality in rave culture. The intro and breakdown sections indicate stations, points of departure, and unscheduled stops. Many songs also feature a sort of climax or crescendo just before the drop; this can often be likened to the sound of a train pulling out of the station. Nice analogy, but it gets ridiculously academic beyond that.

@fazymodo Nightbreed were a drum & bass production group that only put out about 5 or 6 songs to my knowledge in the early 2000's and those other songs sounded nothing like this.
