  • We do occasional cooking classes at Deerfield. Our day job is winemaking so the classes are infrequent. They are usually set up by the Fairmont in Sonoma. We are planning more videos.

  • I don't recall measuring the Arrowroot so my recipe might call for too much. It thickens before the boiling so next time cut it down and if the sauce isn't thick enough add some more. The sauce should be silky and not too thick. Robert

  • I think I put too much arrow root... mine looked just like yours but had the consistency of molasses lol

  • I just finished using this recipe, I did it slightly differently by not using the soup bones, and I substituted the Parsnip with a Yellow Squash since that's what I had in my fridge, this was my first time making a Wine Reduction and it came out AWESOME!! Next time I'm going to follow this recipe exactly and I'm sure it will be even better! Thank You!!!
