DAMN dude how can you hit those notees! i mean i can hit some whistles, but i cant hit those note sthat sounds like chest voice! Thiss guyyyy is DAMN, amazing! :D
nice voice, good execution, but such a bad choice of idol...not against xtina, but if you are to imitate the way she sings, it will do unspeakable damage to ur voice
hmm... thats pretty good i must say. i cant go full voice yet after F5. but my range goes from a G2..to C6. though i've just started a couple weeks ago i was at gb3-D5. If i keep excercising and using my vocal chords correctly within a few months i could PROBABLY be able to do those notes as well..though its a grand assumtion. lol
I say C#3? or C3, probabbly a rough B2. The thing I don't like about him is sometimes hes like Charice Pempigo, they both stop for like ever to gather breath for a note. and it seriously sounds un-natural.
Not even, his weight is still to light to be a spinto, and he doesn't have enough chest power, I mean he can belt but it is all the way at his extremes upper chest. if anything then, I'd say a plain lyric-tenor. excuse my classification of helden, Idk how my brain let that slipp by.
He told me that he was classified as a Spinto Tenor. I swear that he told me so. A Lyric Tenor is like Samdasinga. He has a light airy raspy tone of the Tenor range. If you notice, Lewis has a darker timbre than Sam does.
I know but he was struggling just to hit it. I still say D5 is probably the highest in his tessiurta in terms of full voice. Alot of thee notes are pure yells too.
@EnricoFusai these are the parts of songs that go the highest in most of Christina's songs. Usually vowels are the notes you can sing... not consonants.
Your way of reasoning is a bit off. You're acting as though every vocal coach is a good one, and like I'm saying that he sucks. I didnt say that. I just see some things that could hurt him in the long run. These things build up, it doesnt happen over night.

It's not because someone sounds great that he has great technique. But don't take my word for it. Send it to any top vocal coach and ask them what they think about the technique used here.
chill your beans mate. well if he's got a vocal coach then he's obviously using proper vocal technique... duhh much? oh and he's been singing since like early 2003 so i think if his 'technique' was sooo wrong he would of had some problems by now... but um he's got and had well ZERO.
fuck off will he. ive seen him live and asked him front up how he doesn't have them already and he just said he's very healthy, warms up everyday and has a great vocal coach. just cause your a shit wedding singer.. haha get over it.
I am a die hard Xtina fan, but this dude is seriously incredible =O His intonation, range and general vocal ability is absolutely insane. I wish you the best of luck Lewis! xx
I honestly think that I can hit a D6 in pure head voice. I've been experimenting with my head voice and I think I can do it. and I think that I could reach something higher than an E6 if I really push it.
I honestly think I can. I've been practicing with my head voice and my notes sound higher than Beyonce's C6. I know that the limit for male head voice is E6. I know I can't touch that because my head voice doesn't sound like that. but who knows. I'm going to give aigam12 all of my notes. I'm guessing I have the very least 4 octaves. I can always push my high notes until I reach what I want.
im a male too n i can only hit a C5 mayb a C#5 on a good day bt i wont try to push further....i dont wna hurt my chords but as far as falsetto im not sure ...
I don't like he. He's very talented, but, he hasn't a style. He sing all the notes and riffs and runs or soft tone screaming, tryin' sing like a woman or Christina. He uses the Drive Register in a negative way for Male Voice, look in 1:08.
The drive to man, is only beautiful when used in higher notes and powerful for a milisecond.
By the way, he has a good voice. Just I want he with a style.
I'm telling yallz. Christina fans r the most talented. I know a Christina fan who can hit a G5 and one who can hit a G7. too cool. and one who is good enough to get a record deal.
naw. martha stewart can't sing. If you are a fan of her, then most likely, you know something about decorating something in your home. If you are a fan of christina, then you probably know how to sing or at least try to mimic her like the dude above the comment section and samdasinga and anonymoussinger. and there is this 15 year old chick who sings really well that is a big fan of Christina Aguilera. She was on start search, possible voice of the next gen. she actually has a tone too.
lol, what I meant by the whole Martha Stewart thing is that it doesn't really matter who you're a fan of, odds are fans of anybody can sing, dance, paint, whatever! I think the same thing applies to lambs (MC fans) a lot of us do mimic her, and end up sounding good! lol...check out the countless MC fans singing here on YouTube, a lot of them are great. Also, you said "Christina fans are the most TALENTED" which I responded with "a lot of fans of anybody are TALENTED" lol.
wow, I just finished seeing this video. His belts kinda sound like Christina's lol. I'm not saying this because he's singing christina's songs. But because they genuinely do. lol.
I thought his highest was a D5 during his ANOM belt. Not too sure but I think Sam's E5 are falsetto, thought he hit one during that Brian Mcknight song he did.
doesn't sound like falsetto, it's too strong, and it's too strong to be male head voice as well. I'm pretty sure they are all full belts. His head voice is really thin. check it out.
Nah, opera countertenors and rockers do it all the time, its so easy to strenghthen a falsetto. If you listen to that last note on his god bless america (which sounds like G/G#5 don't think its an A5) you'll notice it has a higher timbre to it. Compare it to any female singer who belts the same note and you'll hear the difference. Many males use their falsetto alot its hard to tell when they're doing it, hell i'm not 100% sure, but it doesn't sound like FV.
what note are you talking about? when i said head voice, I meant the note that he did after he said home. Now, that sounds like head voice and yeah a lot of rockers do it. i've seem all of those vids. But when he said HOOOOOOOOOOME, that was really strong and it sounded really belty. that reminded me of how Christina and Jessica Simpson sound when they go that high. ok, I really can't watch the video right now. The school internet doesn't allow me. But I'll get you a lil something when I find it
LOL gotcha. Yea that's the note, the last note in that video is the one I mean. Compare it to any high G belt (might be a G#5) by any singer, the tint to the belt is too high to be a FV belt. If you listen to Christina when she belts than slides into her A5, its the same sound, except his is a different note and falsetto.
his head voice doesn't sound airy either like how falsetto's sound. oh yeah, but you can check out two examples of head voice.type If I by Jesse Powell around the ending he hits a Bb5 in head voice, when he says if Iiiiiiiiiiiiiii. that reminds me, I asked xoxmelly if the note was a belt and she said yeah. I've seen guys go over F5.
I couldn't find that song but I'll look again. But remember head voices can be strong, just listen to opera singers, they sing with nearly all head voice and limited chest resonance. If you listen to the Brian Mcknight song, listen to the last note. Notice how he belts, stops, and then slides into it. You can hear a slight disconnection plus the timbre is high. I compared it to Vanessa and Patti's belts and it sounds alot like falsetto.
aw. It's such a cool song. Jesse is one of my favorite R7B singers. I know. But you are talking about male head voice, right? because female head voice is very thin almost like falsetto. and yeah, I know what head voice sounds like and how to access it, instead of
hitting falsetto notes, like I used to, I use head voice. It's sounds so much cooler and I kinda have a sort of electronic sound. lol. I think I might be able to hit a B5. But honestly, go check out Jesse Powell. His voice is amazing. anyway, Jesse powell can hit a fv E5 too, check out All Alone. You won't regret it. It's such a cool song, its on my videos and Baby Come Home by Kevon Edmons he can also hit a fv E5. Jesse's is very heady though. check em out. they r my favs.
Yeah I found him and its pretty nice but you'e right, they're kinda heady. In fact that Bb5 sounded alot Sam's note so I suppose there belts but not more head rather than mixed. Using head or even falsetto is much easier and you might get to B5, many males do although I'm not too sure about your range. Its not too rare for male to hit G/A5 but I've heard very few belt the fuck out of those notes.
he is only showing his rang that's all .c other VD if u want 2 c how he sing .thanks

Can I express my opinion about him?
- He hardly tries to sound like Christina, which makes him a ridiculous yelling copycat.
- Trying to sound like a woman is one of the most awkward things you could ever do as a man.
- Keeping on singing like that might bring about nodules, which I don't absolutely wish him.
- He has got no agility in the vocal acrobatics, which makes the voice sound unnatural and forcedly artificial.
A piece of advice? Stop singing like Christina, we already have one!
