I have the Arc textile pants and they aren't very good. The internal knee protectors don't even come anywhere close to lining up with my knees. Also there is nothing to secure the pants to a jacket with at the rear. The bottom of the pant leg is also extremely baggy. My pants are about 2 years old and have only seen moderate use but they are already fraying at most stitching areas and one of the belt-loops has broken off. Overall I am very disappointed in the low quality. I 'm 5'11and wear the34
I like the look of these pants and they look like they would fit me better than my Firstgear mesh overpants where the knee armor is halfway down to my ankle.
Tell you right now, I don't like it. 100 bucks for velcro? Pass.

Sounds more like you can't buy clothing that fits you properly, and don't know how to take care of your things, as these pants are very high quality.
