I love watching Shirley movie. Back than she was the it girl for the movies. My all time favorite was "wells up on my heart". That main guy was sooooooo CUTE !!!!!!! they were like the best couple. I wish that they could of have made more movies 2gether beside just "wills up on my heart and Burn finix Burn". =[
She's very pretty, some how I find her looking very similar to actress Christy Chung. You know the girl that play on the movie with Jet Li in the Defender/ Bodyguard. Or perhaps if it helps.... The movie " Mermaid got Married". Anyways
what ever happened to shirley after making all those movies??? did she just get married and went into hiding like the rest of the other celebrities??? or did she do something else...
@misszsp & @st1010: Oops, Shirley did play a character in "Kickboxer" (黄飞鸿之鬼脚七) back in 1993. My bad. Anyway she did not play "Auntie Yee'' but a reporter in this movie---coz the lead role is 鬼脚七 the apprentice, not 黄飞鸿 the master. :)
when she played the pipa in Errant Love, I wasn't sure if she was actually playing it or not but it really looked like she was actually. now i know for sure that she does know how to play the pipa!
i have both of her album (from what i know, she only released 2 albums)...but of coz this spell of love is the best! her expression is perfect, indeed. got hooked up with this in early 2000 when one tv channel in malaysia played this. just couldn't sleep until i got the CD. pheww!!

The last movie I saw of hers was Drunken Fist or Tai Chi something like that with Yuen Bao. I rented it twice, fell asleep each time I tried to watch it. I guess it wasn't interesting enough for me :P
