I apologize, let me re-phrase. They do have a position but it does not suggest that abortion be provided on demand. Amnesty has suggested that it should be decriminalized (not legalized) and that it should be available in situations where the life of the mother is in danger. Furthermore, this position was predicated more on Amnesty's belief (and a tenet of the UNDHR) that a modest level of medical care should be provided for individuals in dire need.

Can you give me an example? I think that its true that Amnesty sometimes dont deliberate the cultural differencies and dont respect that some things in some countries are usual, but the main thing are still basic human rights. I have never heard that a released prisoner of consciousness would like to stay in a prison because of his honor. And basic human rights are for everyone, and nobody can even refuse them. And as I know Amnesty was founded by a British, not by an American.

Amnesty doesn't free people injustly imprisoned in other countries. that's the job of the United States Military. If they're in jail in the US and amnesty sued their own govt. to free them, i.e. gitmo, the person deserved to be incarcerated because theyre a terrorist and it would be dangerous to us all if they were free. so thats not a matter of whats good for them, its a matter of what's good for us.
