@aznboi1970 I'd avoid numark altogether if i was you, try a couple of Stanton T.62 turntables and a Xone:22 mixer, it's a bit more expensive but it'll hold you a lot longer than the battlepack will.

but THE BEST advice i can give you is hunt pawn shops for a set of technics SL-1200MK2 or MK5, get those and you'll NEVER have to upgrade turntables again. As for a mixer, it's up to you

@MediaAmmo start with virtual dj its quick and easy to pick up as far as mixing. not so much on scratching unless your running cdjs or time code vinyl. im just starting out myself.as for this video EPIC

@strgzr53 Excellent advice. VDJ, USB 4 in 4 out sound card, timecode vinyl and some cheap numark direct drive turntables and a scratch mixer. Picked all mine up ages ago for £250 all in, connect to laptop and mix away!

@MediaAmmo Hey, well i guess it depends how far you want to go with it. It would be ok to go for some cheap decks as a beginner but as you improve you will need to upgrade to something a little more expensive. Mine are technics mk5g's, a rane ttm56 mixer. Fairly expensive but will last you a LONG time. I'm not too clues up about the cheaper ones, the only thing i'd say is get direct drive turntables and a mixer with a sharp crossfader! If you want to know anything else tho just gis a shout ;)
