I bought a Kaossilator yesterday and Im getting a really high pitched whine through the Headphone socket. Its not overly loud but it does annoy me when I try to loop

Ive tried basic iPod headphones and my Audio Technica ATH M50's

Any ideas or is this just a downfall?

Im running the unit using the batteries that I got with it and was maybe thinking that its some interference caused by the batteries?

you should return it and try another one, if it persists try it at a different location/home/work/etc to see if you have AC line noise. Usually not an issue with stuff that uses a 2 prong AC adapter. Also try using the rca outs to your stereo, turn your stereo up load enough to see if it is there as well.

Its an SD card using touch pad wonder.

Does everything the kaossilator does and everything a sampler or drum pad can do using your own sounds.
