Nimmam the reason dxdiag shows your graphics card as having 512mb of video ram is because if the 7300GS recognizes that there is more or equal to a GB of ram on your pc, it will increase it's video ram by an extra 256mb. Pretty neat feature.

I tested that in my PC (P4 3.0GHz rated at 4.5GHz, 3GB Ram, nVidia 7300GS 512MB, with Windows Vista) and the image was totally crapped. I mean, lots of bugs in image, like black squares and all. And i brought GTA IV original! :/

You know why that is happing?? Becouse you videocard is to low... you have 7300GS and the point is... GS card's are bad with gaming and you need Minimum 7900 Card So upgrade your videocard and the game will run good :) a geforce9 serie card isnt dat expensief these times :D A geforce9800GT 512MB will be nice :) Just 100-140 dollars :P

Re I ran this game yesterday with my x1900xt and it gave me same fps as my 9800gt. +/- 3-5 fps.

Actually Pentium D sux! I Replaced my 7300 with a 9400 GT overclocked gave me 10-18 FPS(some times above 20) .. But when i tried this game on my friend's pc having Core 2 Duo (2.2 GHz) gave him an average of 22-30 FPS.. I dont know much about 1900XT... But its good i think! replacing Processor can gain 10-15 FPS...

hrrm....i sitll wonder if itl work on mine....i have mine pentium d overclocked to 3.5 ghz......(original clock 2.8 ghz) but i think my video card is toooooo powerfull for my cpu...and thats why most of my games lagg.....i have an ATI radoen 1900XT 512mb....which is very advanced for a pentium d.......what do you think nimman007? think its worth it for me to buy GTAIV?
