I think of this as the soundtrack to the Book of Revelation. I've only seen it live once, at a mid-sized indoor venue. It was the most wonderfully horrific thing I've ever experienced. At one point, I thought I was having a stroke; I was blind, had aural hallucinations, and couldn't move. There really wasn't any applause at the end, just people standing there looking at each other blankly and staggering out the door like zombies. All I could think was, "do it again! do it again!" :)
