If you look on the left hand side of the church inside here where the men are standing. Against the wall, above the last bench, you can see a difference in texture in the air. It's not for a short period either. Right now I've frozen the page on 11:33 for the time you can see it. But it's a bit before that and after. Its like a darker grey mist than the stone. (I could be wrong but it's weird anyway)

Have you ever caught opening doors, hovering objects or even half manifistations? Just wondering. I've watched five of your videos so far and I've seen nothing but orbs and heard noises. I love ghosts, I grew up in a haunted house and my grandmothers home was haunted as well. My husband was touched on the shoulder when he was washing dishes and thought it was me, but I was two rooms away. LOL Keep up the work.

The name of the spirit at the old cottage I mentioned in previous posts was known to the villagers as 'old Linnett', he's been seen by several people, but he's missing the lower half of his body. He was also known as an abusive husband. My grandparents knew him, and most the village was relieved at his demise, his wife outlived him for serveral years, but he was obviously not done abusing her! She moved to a respite in Southminster where she died peacefully, so the story goes. Old Linnet remains

It is historically preserved... a nightwatchman locks up every night, as late as 1975, the church was still in use on Sundays. (I am from there!) On full moon nights, it's also reported that a rush of roman horses and carts can be heard coming from the sea wall past the church.. I went late one night with a GF in 1975 but it wasn't a full moon, and it creeped us out, so we hightailed it home.. well we were only aged 16! There's also a delapitated cottage nearby also haunted by it's former owner!
I feel that when people were going to that church, it was during an era full of trouble...I feel death in that church, I don't know if somebody died there or there was a lot of people moaning because one or more of their loved ones have died but there's a lot of sadness in this church and I also feel that many children have died. It was really an era where people had a hard time.

yes, I can imagine. Unfortunate for us. man I'd love to go ghost hunting with a professional group. i know I have been seening a figure here in my apartment lately. I can tell it's a male and he stands about 6 foot tall. He has on a trench coat of some sort and it looks like a top hat he has on his head. unfortunately I never have seen the full features of his face. He will stand in my hallway and watch me. It doesn't scare me but it gets rather annoying at times.
Well I have seen apparitions on 2 occasions and witnessed an object moving of its own accord so I do believe in paranormal activity. Personally I think that EVP is more likely to be SW radio intercepts, hence my original question. I also think that video orbs are an artefact produced by the auto focus and image stabilization features in infrared camcorders. I've yet to see an orb recorded on a professional TV camera that doesn't have those features (but I'm happy to be proved wrong)
Therefore you CANNOT get radio - SW/LW/MW(AM) or whatever, as false EVP. I have been assured this by an experienced professional sound engineer that has experience of both EVP and radio frequencies. That`s why makes of camcorder/recorders etc are irrelevant.

I agree with you BednHerts with aspects of shortwave but when we go beyond these bounds that can restrict you if that is all you have to work with we, realise now that some lets say spirit activity are coming from different vibrational planes and there are those that come from lower planes of existance and it is the case that some of these are not aware of each other so we are now I feel better equiped now to pick up these other vibrational aspects of our paranormal investigation.
How do you mean BedsnHerts shortwave radio broadcast or evp's in general and if your not a sceptic what do you normally consider paranormal evidance as activity no disrespect I would say that evp evidance is possible one of the better sources of evidance that we can get I am still playing around with the idea of orbs but appart from having full blown apparitions where do you go.

you should check out the grounds of berry pomery castle or compton castle in Devon where i live they are haunted by lots of ghosts but i doubt you will get permission to go there at night becase they're owned by english heritage and the national trust..just do some research on ghosts at berry pomery i've heard some shocking stories :) if you could go there it would be great..it's extremely active :)

Jennie: They are active day and night. For investigation night is better as it`s generally quieter and they show up better under Infra-Red illuminators.

The name of the spirit at the old cottage I mentioned in previous posts was known to the villagers as 'old Linnett', he's been seen by several people, but he's missing the lower half of his body. He was also known as an abusive husband. My grandparents knew him, and most the village was relieved at his demise, his wife outlived him for serveral years, but he was obviously not done abusing her! She moved to a respite in Southminster where she died peacefully, so the story goes. Old Linnet remains

OMG! I can't believe it!! You've been to my home village after all!! You'd have driven right past my old home on Malden Road! (called Bradwell Wick/Wyck), I'm more homesicke than ever now! Did you also do the old air-raid shelters and the Nuclear Power Station? Also reportedly haunted! There's a road leading from the Marnina Centre (where both my grandparents worked) to Maldon Rd that also has a ghost that stopped my grandmother on a few occasions as she cycled her way home from work! Great Vid!

It is historically preserved... a nightwatchman locks up every night, as late as 1975, the church was still in use on Sundays. (I am from there!) On full moon nights, it's also reported that a rush of roman horses and carts can be heard coming from the sea wall past the church.. I went late one night with a GF in 1975 but it wasn't a full moon, and it creeped us out, so we hightailed it home.. well we were only aged 16! There's also a delapitated cottage nearby also haunted by it's former owner!

I feel that when people were going to that church, it was during an era full of trouble...I feel death in that church, I don't know if somebody died there or there was a lot of people moaning because one or more of their loved ones have died but there's a lot of sadness in this church and I also feel that many children have died. It was really an era where people had a hard time.

I very much enjoyed this video Chris. I was wondering, the church there gets closed up at night? They won't allow visitors past sunset? Since you said that as light went away, you could feel the energy and activity increase. I could only imagine what you could have discovered if allowed to stay in that old church all night.

Whilst it`s unfortunate for people like us, I do understand why. Yes, that building would certainly be worth investigating at night.

yes, I can imagine. Unfortunate for us. man I'd love to go ghost hunting with a professional group. i know I have been seening a figure here in my apartment lately. I can tell it's a male and he stands about 6 foot tall. He has on a trench coat of some sort and it looks like a top hat he has on his head. unfortunately I never have seen the full features of his face. He will stand in my hallway and watch me. It doesn't scare me but it gets rather annoying at times.

Well I have seen apparitions on 2 occasions and witnessed an object moving of its own accord so I do believe in paranormal activity. Personally I think that EVP is more likely to be SW radio intercepts, hence my original question. I also think that video orbs are an artefact produced by the auto focus and image stabilization features in infrared camcorders. I've yet to see an orb recorded on a professional TV camera that doesn't have those features (but I'm happy to be proved wrong)

Radio works on a frequency outside of EVP.
Therefore you CANNOT get radio - SW/LW/MW(AM) or whatever, as false EVP. I have been assured this by an experienced professional sound engineer that has experience of both EVP and radio frequencies. That`s why makes of camcorder/recorders etc are irrelevant.

Thankyou BedsnHerts,I do not think its a case of being proved wrong,we gather as much a varied crop of evidance as we can sift through ,all the crap lets say and are left with very littleto work on.That is the defining word evidance not so much proof positive that is for each individual to decide upon,I think we have a little way to go yet before we can say anybody has proof positive.You question EVP thats fine I have the same problem with apparitions or ghosts I see them as just a trigger.

I agree with you BednHerts with aspects of shortwave but when we go beyond these bounds that can restrict you if that is all you have to work with we, realise now that some lets say spirit activity are coming from different vibrational planes and there are those that come from lower planes of existance and it is the case that some of these are not aware of each other so we are now I feel better equiped now to pick up these other vibrational aspects of our paranormal investigation.

Do you think though that perhaps,as things are that everything will have to go totally digitised eventually despite the initial cost which has come down for any digitised equipment that is used in any paranormal investigation for this type of work to move forward as I expect that sooner or later digitally recorded in all its forms will become more and more sensatized equipment that will replace what is being used today.

Why does it seem that when an evp is captured as an example to the one you captured it was 'Hows that' it is something so random and does not seem to be responding to the people who are there or anything that is being said to lets say it.I have been involved with this type of personal interest for years and the one thing that has always pissed me off not a negative though is the bloudy names Mary and John I like the names they were my grandparents and my mother has the welsh version Mair.

I couldn`t agree with you more. I think that in reality there is a much longer conversation but the recorders only pick up small sections which come over in "waves" of sound. That`s my belief.

Awesome, I enjoyed it very much. I heard other EVP's in there, but their definitely another language I don't know. 2000 years, it could be any kind of language, or even slang words. you should check out the grounds of berry pomery castle or compton castle in Devon where i live they are haunted by lots of ghosts but i doubt you will get permission to go there at night becase they're owned by english heritage and the national trust..just do some research on ghosts at berry pomery i've heard some shocking stories :) if you could go there it would be great..it's extremely active :)
