Most national level freestyle/grecco training facilities and tournaments in the US use the international approved mats. The American companies that manufacture mats do offer international styles.

at 15 - 16 seconds they jump through moves and change angles in the footage that makes them look like high school wrestlers with one guy going immediately from a good position to a bad position. You would never know just from watching they're really good wrestlers. And it makes people think sloppy wrestling is good wrestling. Editors are typically really good at catching small things in the footage. They should have found a wrestler who knows what good wrestling is to look over the video

Half way through my senior year of I highschool I wrestled in a tournament with a full blown case of tendinitis in my shoulder, bruised ribs, a sprained ankle, torn cartilage in my knee, and a recent concussion. the only thing stronger than the pain was the desire to Keep Going. My Coach never knew until the long bus ride home when he saw me wrapping me ribs shoulder and knee with ice packs in the middle of the night.
