If you let your left poi (vertical) wrap your right wrist slightly as you come from you left side to your right side you can keep the planes a lot neater.
I think you're struggling there because you're trying to not let it wrap at all.
I guess it depends on whether you view that as cheating or not, haha.
Woo, just about got this, struggling to keep the horizontal plane straight though. It's fine on the down beats but is rather shoddy on the up beats. I'll practice this over the next couple of days and see if I can get a camera and post a response. I reckon you can get this looking pretty nice.

I'm sure I'd appreciate it more if I had a real idea of the difficulty considering I'm not into poi. go go youtube showing your things you never thought to look for

very nice bro.
im pretty damn close and have a feeling ill get it soon.
having trouble on the right side when the poi comes around when you twist your arms.. it knocks it off plane and im stuck in a corkscrew.
occasionally ill give it enough umph to keep it on track then i throw my poi and jump in celebration.
haha
im left handed by the way so people probably experience this on the left side..

Haha, this made me realise that on the 5-beat you do 3 beats with the hand on that side.
I hadn't realised that before, just kind of assumed that it added 1 beat onto each hand, so that was enlightening.
Oh, and thanks for the three-beat atomic tutorial, just watched and learnt that, this is going to take a little more practice though :D
