Okay the gun is awesome, but I've had two mags crap out on me already....The spring on the mag after a while just jams like crazy and I can't get more than 5 BBs in the mag at a time. Plastic barrel means smoother cycling and less cooldown. Plastic is pretty resistant to heat and in this case, cold.

@SOCCERSmyLIF3 what do you mean by stops shooting? is it a jam? run out of gas?does the slide blow back but no bb comes out? thats not enough info for a diagnosis but i think i know what your issue is if it is the 3rd problem i stated. the KWA MK series 1911 pistols have one major flaw. if you load them with 14 rounds, when you rack the slide it will push down the bb stack and lock the magazine follower. soulution: load 13 rounds instead of 14

i have the mark II version of this gun, when i got it in the mail i was awe struck when i felt how much the gun weighed and how realsiticly the slide cycled. what i loved even more were the NovaK style sights that had three dots instead of just two in the back. my advice, BUY ONE NOW!

I've personally been to KWA's USA office in here in California, talked to one of the managers, who was a former Sheriff. and he told me that KWA indeed has been providing these airsofts for law enforcement trainings. that's probably why it saids "professional training pistol" on the slide.

Yeah, the plastic barrel, as has been stated, is much better for the gun overall than a metal barrel.

Besides, if you want a metal barrel that badly, they've put metal barrels on their pro shop for their other pistols, I'm sure the M1911 mark series will come soon.

And, by the way, the crossman c11 (cheap $50 academy gun) has a locking magazine follower...

Not to mention that the other version of this gun, (the Mark II for sure) have a white dot on the front sight.

One reason for the polymer outer barrel is: It act as a sort of dry lubricant for where the slide touches the outer barrel. Also since the NS2 system is so much more efficient there is more wear and tear on the internals. Also by giving the pistols a polymer barrel it increases the cycle rate of the slide.

This was a fantastic review Evike. All the straight up facts, accuracy test, just to the point. Like wow... These YouTube videos will definitely get your name out there.
