Liber scriptus proferetur, in quo totum continetur, unde Mundus iudicetur. Iudex ergo cum sedebit, quidquid latet apparebit, nil inultum remanebit.

I love all the Achtung Baby singles cause these bonus songs are so amazingly great...
Not quite sure about the lyrics, thanx to LoyalRaiderFan for the translation btw, but I guess Bono must have been in a Clockwork Orange kind of mood, when he wrote this. Interesting.
This reminds me very much of the 'Passengers' album

All the references are there in the title.
This was from U2's soundtrack to the RSC's live production of A Clockwork Orange twenty years ago.
Alex being our antihero, Korova being the name of the Milk Bar where he and his droogies frequent.

Does anybody know why is this song called "Korova"? This is a Russian word that means "cow", actually. U2 know Russian? That's funny :)
Thanks for this rarity

@PeterShishlin The name comes from the Korova Milk Bar in Anthony Burgess' novella A Clockwork Orange.

Brilliant piece! They should open the 360 Tour with this and transition into Mofo. It would be spectacular!

Korova means cow...therefore, Alex is descending into hell for a milk cow? Thats queer as a clockwork orange.

the beginning sounds like something from "The Unforgettable Fire" days" blended in with the obvious "Achtung Baby" days.

A day of wrath, that day

The trumpets wondrous call sounding abroad
He descended into hell
