@machone7I lol, i thought so too but the names didn't sound right. they went to Bruntinthorpe in Leicestershire. that's Fifth Gear's test track. Top Gear's test track is in Dunsfold in Surrey.

They obviously left the stock exhaust on for emissions and noise level, remember these cars have to be SVA tested in the uk...modifiying the exhaust etc is something for the owner to do...the gaskets...even the shop should of suggested replacing them while fitting the supercharger lool

the engine in a 944 is not a vw unit. Its based on halh of the V8 in the 928.

@MrSharpe95 the 928 is block made of one piece, waht you said is idiotic. its true that the porsche 924 has a vw van engine, but the 944 has a random 4 cilinder, that has nothing to do with any v8.

I cant believe these goofs put a supercharger on the car and dont even upgrade some basic items...Like take the 20 year old gaskets and seals and replace them with new ones. They even have the old exhaust still on that lump of shit. I bet they didnt even change the oil and the filters.

Couldnt agree more! Complete amatuers is the phrase I would use. To strap a supercharger onto an old engine like that and screw shitloads of boost into it, well im suprised it lasted the dyno runs! and to fit a standard clutch and expect it to take the torque of that engine again, Amatuers! Why not start with the 944 turbo car that was actually a half decent car to begin with. I laughed when the bald guy (self proclaimed mechanic) picked up a sparkplug and didnt know what it was!!! hahahahahaha
