@daiwellby Sorry, but you are mistaken. "Venus" was first recorded by Shocking Blue and written by the band's guitar player and backup vocalist Robbie van Leeuwen in 1969. Look it up.

This song is originaly recorded by Shoking Blue a dutch band, the lead singer Mariska Veres loved tom's version of the song, she kept tom's album with tom's cover of the song in her private collection. (saw this in an interview where a reporter was at her home and they were discussing her record collection).
