I've just gotta say, your covers are good but you should work on giving them your own flair as opposed to trying to make them as verbatim as possible. That also goes for your vocals, don't do it how Trent does them live. I think this is part of the reason people give you so much shit for being a "Trent wannabe."

Well I thank you for the advice, but as I've stated, I don't care what people think... it's not affecting my life any. Also, I feel fairly confident that my vocals are better than Trent's in any situation, atleast now. Trent's voice is gone, he sounds so shitty live i can't even stand to listen. And I think I added a nice flare to this song with the guitar solo following the vocals in the last chorus, where there aren't even supposed to be vocals. And the screams at the end are new as well.

I'm not saying you sound like him just that you pull off a lot of his mannerisms. You're definitely capable of making these songs your own. If you can recreate these covers as closely as you have been, you can certainly make your own spin that is familiar but entirely different. For example, Orgy's cover of Blue Monday sounds familiar but compare the two and you'll hear a significant difference. All I'm trying to do is provide constructive criticism, Caleb, take it or leave it.

hey just an observation...the mix is phasing like a motherfucker. monitor with headphones while you sing it should get rid of that. your mic is picking up the original mix and sending a copied delay through causing some phase cancelation.
